Those wizards, man. You know the ones. They look like centaurs and shoot ice/fire at you the instant you're detected. I kept trying to fight a Hinox with one of those wizards on my back and it was impossible, dude was raining down iced lightning on me from a field away. Turns out I can't even handle one of them. Effin' wizards.

I'll try and ask my question again since I'm not sure if it got answered earlier.

Can you find Epona in the game? I know
you can use the SSB Link Amiibo to get her, but can you find her in the game somewhere as well? I don't need to know exactly where, just if she is.

Also, why is this game so good? I don't think I've fallen in love with a game so quickly in a long time. Everything is perfect so far. I hope it keeps it up.

I've played for like 10+ hours and I haven't found that blue shirt Link is wearing in all the art/etc.. did I miss it early on or do you get it by progressing more in the story(no spoilers pls)?

Actually if I have a complaint as of now it's that I've barely found any clothing/armor since the first 30 minutes of the game. Is buying from stores to main way to acquire them? They're so expensive...

First of all, this is the best game I've played in years easily, haven't been this immersed in an open world since Skyrim 6 years ago.

Secondly, can anyone tell me if you're required later on to go to more of the runes, or are they completely optional after the first few in the tutorial area. I intend to go do a bunch anyway but I feel like it'd be very easy for someone to miss out on visiting half of the map if they don't make the effort to do so.

Ok, where is this Eventide Island everyone is raving about. I need to just get my butt down there

South-east corner of the map
. Should be easily spotted from one of the nearby shrines unless the weather is super awful at that moment.

It was probably where I've been most frustrated with the durability system so far, but otherwise it was really cool.

Jesus, that first
Titan
attack / approach. Music, voice over, use of multiple mechanics ('offensive' use of the sheikah slate ice power)

... that felt amazing.
Now off to my first real
temple
, i guess.

Btw, to reiterate my question from earlier:

Any materials (minerals, especially) that are never needed for any worthwhile upgrade? can i sell my diamonds or sapphires?
Is there a max wallet size?

Any speculation on timeline placement? There is a memory where Zelda lists all the "major" incarnations of Link (Skyward Hero, Hero of Time, Protector of Twilight) which leads me to believe it's following twilight princess.

eventide island, howd you guys even
kill that stupid cyclop? It one oneshot 2 times and i stopped bothering. Is there a way to take the ball without waking him up?

Nope.
More or less ran out of weapons against him, just started lobbing bombs and after a dozen or so the ball dropped for some reason. Grabbed it, ran away and finished the shrine, cyclops still at 50% HP.

That would be the most logical conclusion to reach. Then again the game is full of references to EVERY Zelda game, including Tal Tal Heights which as anyone who played LA knows
isn't even real
.

The game could take place in the adult or downfall timeline. I'm surprised
just how far in the future it is, though. Ten thousand years!? OoT -> WW/TP/LttP was only what, 500 at most?

Where is the second shrine near Kakariko?

I read there were two in the diary in a house.

Haven't really found it myself yet, but
near the Fairy pond there's a forest with a thing in the ground where you leave a Orb and it will open a Shrine. I didn't know what was that the first time I was there, but later I had to do it in another part of Hyrule. So, I'm pretty sure there's one there. Sensor does not tell you anything with those, by the way.

Is there a goddess statue in hateno village?

Why I ask?
For master sword: The deku tree told me I could switch shrines and containers. Where is that?

Quick question. Do you only get to upgrade once at each of the four fairies?

If you buy the 250 rupee armour (that only gets you from 1-4) and upgrade it ... have you wasted the upgrade. Or are you better keeping your basic clothes until you do the Zora dungeon and get given better clothes then upgrade that.

If you want to know where:

It's right outside the clothing shop IIRC.

The world outside Central Hyrule is way too vertical for ever using a horse efficiently.
Yeah that's definitely part of it. I just find myself getting off the horse too often that I don't even bother most of the time. You kind of have to ignore everything you're running past if you use a horse to get somewhere.

there is an orb in Impa's house but she won't let you take it, I guess it's related to that. Thanks

The
crown of bone
riddle was really clever.

Now that I have the full climbing set Link really books it up cliffs.

Is there a stable in the province that Hateno village is in? If so I missed it.

I didn't. I cut the necklace to make him drop the orb and ran.

Shoot an arrow at his eye, he'll sit down in pain, run towards him and cut the rope attached to the orb, grab it and run like hell

Took me three deaths to figure this out.

someone help D: how do I get through
toh yasha shrine.
I've tried using stasis on the big switch and dropping a bomb on it right after but nothing.

lol jk i figured it out. as soon as i ask for help here i find the solution heh

Shoot the rope with an arrow and the orb will fall off. Either grab it and run like hell or hide and fall back so it will fall back into sleep and grab the orb at that moment.

I did kill it though for fun lol.

I shot a Hinox in his eye, so he started to cover it with his hand but he still manage to walk towards me.

You can't have the cake and eat it, game!

This game.

The more I play, the more I don't want to stop. I don't think I've been as immersed in a game since vanilla world of Warcraft, and this isn't even an MMO.

I can't get over just how phenomenal this game is. It's honestly proving difficult to put down!

It's absolutely gorgeous too. Also I haven't seen it mentioned much, but I absolutely adore the village designs (even if they seem to tank the frame rate at times).

I don't want to go to work... ☹️
