Where the hell is the
little girl hiding
in the
kakariko village
side quest?!!

I've looked behind
Impas house but there's never anyone there.

Have you zoomed in on the map and looked for formations that might look as the picture?

Yeah, but can't find any round towers like the one in the pic.

¨There's an NPC found in various villages and stables
he's a painter
that offers hints. I received a hint for that specific photo from him.

Oh yes, I know. This is my last picture, but I don't know where to find him for this specific picture.

He gave me that hint at a stable. Thing is, I have no idea which one, so that doesn't help you at all. Sorry. :(

So from my understanding this game does not use scaling for enemies, or at least general enemies. What about mini bosses? Dungeon bosses?

There is scaling for the enemies. While some areas may have diffenet species that are stronger, like lizalfos instead of bokoblings, each type can scale up. I was in the plateau just now and I was fighting white bokoblings with insane weapons and hp.

So, about those elementary weapons:

I found an Ice Spear after finishing a pretty tough and epic shrine sidequest, but with an attack of 20 it's the weakest link of my weapon chain, so I'm thinking of just selling it. But now I've heard people mention, that it has some sort of elementary bonus - but there's nothing in the description indicating that. Do I have to upgrade it first and will it then help me to for example not get burned in the desert or death mountain?

Rockstar is going to delay RDR2 because of what they'll see in this game, they'll need to adjust lol.

People buy FFXV and Skyrim SE in the millions with their empty worlds, I don't think this one game is going to change that

It will be delayed anyway

The bonus is that it freezes stuff when you first hit with it, I think. I don't know if that kind of thing impacts the numbers, but it seems like the elemental weapons were stunning enemies mid-attack due to their elements.

The thing about elemental weapons is that they put a status on the enemy after 1 or 2 hits and said status completly stops the enemy. What you want to do is hit with the element weapon once or twice so the status is applied and then switch to a strong weapon to get the most of the big opening you get.

Edit: oh and some enemies are so weak to certain elements that they get 1hko every time.

Spears also seems to have lower power to compensate for their superior reach and speed. I haven't gotten many spears above 20 power, where most of my other weapons ranges from 30-40.

I wish there was a reliable place to find or buy torches or leaves. I hate keeping one of each with me (I toss my torch a lot tho).

Agreed on this, one must always be carrying a torch (or a wood weapon). This came to bite me
Near Death mountain, most puzzle are fire based as in needed to burn leaves. There are all kind of way, but having a torch or wood weapon is the best thanks to the torches nearby...I had none so had to use arrows and other means to accomplish those puzzles!

You should visit Satori Mountain (what it's called in the German version at least). Korok puzzle city, a shrine and a beautiful view at sunset.

You shouldn't keep torches. There are always replacements, be it some random wood weapon, arrows or even the leaf itself.

Putting Skyrim and FFXV together in the 'empty worlds' category is a crime against game analysis. Skyrim was packed with content, and good for its time. FFXV is one of the poorest, blandest and emptiest open worlds of the past decade.

One of the other is
the original Red Dead Redemption.

A spear with 20 attack is better than some huge slow club with 60. It's all about DPS - the spear is pretty much the fastest weapon in the game. Add the ice effect which will paralyze enemies for a time, and that's a great weapon and one you should keep.

Yes, look at the floor.

More explicit hint:
Use Magnesis.

It's so smart how the game kinda teases you into using
Magnesis
to
unstuck the chest from the ground
so while you're using it you can see
the secret metal panel hiding the room to the leader.

After 20-30 hours I finally found an armor combination I really like. Little bit generic but I like the Soldier's armor and pants plus hylian hood in black. What's everybody else rocking?

So dumb question, I realize I never took a picture of one of the dungeon bosses for my compendium.

Is he gone for good, or is there a second chance later?

Spiked moblin clubs are pretty useful for doing high damage to large enemies with extended periods of stun. I prefer fast over strong weapons for smaller mobs.

Where can you sell weapons? I haven't found anyone who will take them and I'm sitting on a bunch of two handed high tier weapons I never want to use I got from exploring Hyrule Castle and it seems like it'd be easy cash and clear out my bloated inventory.

I think there might be a second chance.
When I was exploring Hyrule Castle I stumbled into a room with Windblight Ganon.

Well, right now I'm wearing the Snowquill gear, but that's because I'm in the middle of the
Rito Dungeon
.

My go to has been the Sheikah Stealth Suit, but dyed black. I love playing stealthy, and the design is honestly just too cool.

Pretty sure thats
the final boss room and before you can fight calamity ganon he will sumon any blight ganon you didnt defeat.

I beat the game with only 2 beasts (thunder and water) so I had to fight wind, fire and then calamity gsnon in a row.

Hylian hood in brown
The box art blue tunic whatever it's called
Tan painted Solider's armor pants

Looks super classy. Like a hardened adventurer. The brown hood matches the arms on the clothing, while the pants match the undershirt.

Oh damn, I just assumed you could! Well if you can't I might just use it then lol

I feel like I may be entering some of these shrines too quickly.

Found a shrine with those orange glowing balls in water...spent like 20 minutes throwing bombs in the water to shoot the balls into the air to get one into the basket. That worked, then it opened a gate to the second room with the same set up, only this time there's an orange glowing button or something on the bottom of the water and now the basket has a metal gate on the top. I'm guessing there's an outfit for link to dive in water? Because as of now I can't do that.

Is it possible to create food that has more than two effects? Or is it only health recovery +1 bonus all the time?

Seems like every combo I make with more than one effect food ends up as straight health recovery with no added bonus.

Effects don't stack at all, even if you eat two different foods. Adding multiple effects to a recipe just cancels them out. I believe an NPC explains this somewhere.

Reposting for new page cos I posted it at the very last post of a page earlier..

Korok seed puzzle question:
Are three indentcal trees in a row a korok puzzle? Seen these a few times and can't help but think it is, yet cannot figure it out.

regarding the pictures, do I get any hints on where the castle picture is. It looks like it's on Hyrule castle somewhere, but I can't find it.

The hint is given by the painter in the stable near lurelin village in the faron region

for a more detailed answer
It's in hyrule castle near Zelda's room on the tower

Nope.

Use your magnet rune on the basket.

I actually liked
the leader fight
, very Zelda-esque.

Yeah, it was a cool fight but he was just a joke, comic relief guy. I was super disappointed to find out that the
super cool ninja assassin's that straight up announce their intentions to kill you were lead by a doofus.
It really soured me on the whole organisation. Like, it's a cool idea,
a splinter tribe of Sheikah who decided to work for Ganon instead of against it and it tunrs out that they are just banana loving Narutos lead by a clown who gets stuck in the dirt ass up and whose secret technique is to drop a big ball and have it roll onto him.

No there isnt. You have everything you need.

Dude, you're going about this in 100% the wrong way, lololol. Can't believe you even got your way to work.

Hint: It's a
magnesis
trial.
