Well sure, it's "war" in the same way Russia bombing the rebels is. As much as Assad likes to claim it, he doesn't own Syria any more. It's a stateless country being used as a proxy war between countries. All this is a slight escalation of a proxy war that Assad started.

Anyways, Russia and Iran ain't gonna do shit they haven't already done before. Russia is going to ramp up escalations in Eastern Europe, and Iran is going to fuck with US warships. No one is crazy enough to attack each other because of this.

Good point, but this was a long time ago, and not to mention this was coming off the heels of September 11, which was a national nightmare and basically impacted everybody's lives here in this country one way or another. Not that I don't feel bad for the victims in Syria, but, it may not have as profound of an effect on Americans' mindset in regards to the importance of a military response.

No one is waging war. Obama spent the last 4 years utilizing drone strikes in the middle east (and he spent his fair share of time on the golf course too) and so have our allies. See if Trump had a competent administration that actually thought things through instead of saying one thing in the morning and saying something else by the evening or people saying different things I wouldn't be this concerned.
