lmaoooo. Just had (what i thought) a super intense and fun mirror match, where i was lucky in every win. So i end up winning 3.0, while the fights themselves were still really tied. Of course the dude ragequits and in turn removes the entire lobby. wew the salt

Whats the best source to read on and practice for the competitive side of the game?

I'm a Tekken regular but up until now I have taught everything I know myself in practice mode (basically just finding combos) and by playing against friends. I don't watch Tekken pro matches because until now I didn't really enjoy watching it so I have no clue what goog players do differently exactly.

Actually what surprised me was that even with the lag, it was still mostly doable (dropped combos aside). In other fighters I've played EU vs NA is just a nightmare.

Yeah, you just have to attack when he's in the middle of an animation. I don't think I landed more than 3 hits that weren't a punish in my 20 tries.

I usually wait for him to teleport through me and then start attacking.

If you like playing tekken, you can't go wrong. But i would not say its anywhere near as fully featured as the games you mentioned or Injustice 2. Although it still has more content than a few other recent fighting games that have launched

Wait for online to get fixed, which will probably happen soon. Game is goddamn amazing, but you can't consistently take part of the best part of it at the moment.

Edit: Oh, noticed you rarely play online. Then yeah sure, if the combat itself can keep you interested. Seems it's lighter than the other games on solo content.

I've been using her and don't think she has an annoying moveset. Her strings don't have many mix-ups and her oki game seems weak. Most of her lows seem lackluster too.

Haven't played Tekken properly in years. I messed around with 6 & Tag Tournament 2, but I am really loving 7. I just wish I could play a match online, I hope the problems get fixed soon. Been playing as Leo I really like her & have also been using Akuma.

Character stories are disappointing. They feel like filler. Trophies are really easy to obtain I nearly have the plat.
