Private lobbies work fine on PS4. Been playing with friends without any issues.

Tried a few tournaments with randoms earlier and that worked ok too. Can't vouch for anything else.

This game is already destroying friendships. Was playing w/ some guy I used to play DOA and SF w/.

He invited me to mess around so I'm like oh ok cool let's run some. He won the first four matches as I played with asuka, master raven then law. I won the 5th one with Law then he says my law is terrible then deletes me from his list...

lmaoooo. Just had (what i thought) a super intense and fun mirror match, where i was lucky in every win. So i end up winning 3.0, while the fights themselves were still really tied. Of course the dude ragequits and in turn removes the entire lobby. wew the salt

Whats the best source to read on and practice for the competitive side of the game?

I'm a Tekken regular but up until now I have taught everything I know myself in practice mode (basically just finding combos) and by playing against friends. I don't watch Tekken pro matches because until now I didn't really enjoy watching it so I have no clue what goog players do differently exactly.

She gets hated way more because of the way she looks and acts than because of her moveset.

I actually really like her.

I was indifferent to Chloe as a character until I played her story thing. I find her true attitude amusing.

She is fun to play as too.

I don't hunt for platniums so I think I'm gonna save myself the headache on this. Threw my controller like it was my own son down a volcano and luckily it didn't break so I think I'm just gonna leave it for now. The story mode itself already pissed me off as it is.

Her moves can be really annoying but I think people just hate on her cause she's a cutesy idol character.

Just won a tournament with her, guy I beat wasn't very happy lol.

Actually what surprised me was that even with the lag, it was still mostly doable (dropped combos aside). In other fighters I've played EU vs NA is just a nightmare.

Is this one good enough for full price? I rarely play online and I own an OG PS4. No PC.

Yeah, you just have to attack when he's in the middle of an animation. I don't think I landed more than 3 hits that weren't a punish in my 20 tries.

I usually wait for him to teleport through me and then start attacking.

If you like playing tekken, you can't go wrong. But i would not say its anywhere near as fully featured as the games you mentioned or Injustice 2. Although it still has more content than a few other recent fighting games that have launched

Wait for online to get fixed, which will probably happen soon. Game is goddamn amazing, but you can't consistently take part of the best part of it at the moment.

Edit: Oh, noticed you rarely play online. Then yeah sure, if the combat itself can keep you interested. Seems it's lighter than the other games on solo content.

Surprisingly digging Kazuya's default. Was sure I was going to just rock the original shirtless look, but the suit looks pretty good on him. Colors aren't loud.

Between the online and the resolution this game is a hot mess on the Xbox One hopefully it'll run better on the Scorpio!

I've been using her and don't think she has an annoying moveset. Her strings don't have many mix-ups and her oki game seems weak. Most of her lows seem lackluster too.

Haven't played Tekken properly in years. I messed around with 6 & Tag Tournament 2, but I am really loving 7. I just wish I could play a match online, I hope the problems get fixed soon. Been playing as Leo I really like her & have also been using Akuma.

Character stories are disappointing. They feel like filler. Trophies are really easy to obtain I nearly have the plat.
