Spoilers about Story Mode.
That's the great thing about Kazumi being in this game. What they've done with this one is shown us how you can have a dead character officially dead in the canon but still be in the game somehow and have it make sense. Heihachi will likely be "dead" for the next few entries unless they provide a reason for him to be alive. With that said, all they have to do is show a flashback of Heihachi in future Story Mode and that's reason to keep him in the series. He's done so much in the past decades in the Tekken lore it's fairly easy to have a flash with Heihachi. They can kill the character but still keep him around for the long haul.

Yeah. Pre-ordered the PC CE from amazon but didn't get Eliza. I guess either Amazon wasn't offering the pre-order bonus or it just wasn't included on the PC version. Annoyed but I can wait.

Did my first few matches in Treasure Battle. I used Katarina since she seems to be easy to play so far. I won but I was still just mashing a lot. Oh well...gotta start somewhere.

Really disappointed with the character stories. I guess it's super easy to get them all so it's not so bad but the endings aren't that good.
It sucks that the new characters don't get much developing. Also why is Nina ina wedding dress? It makes me think they just reused the zombie bride design.

I'm not sure if anyone linked this, but someone is uploading sample combos with notations for every character. Covers most launchers, counter hits, wall combos, etc. Found this really useful when I was trying out Kazumi.

Online literally does not work for me. Both player and ranked matches always just say "connection lost to opponent" before the fights ever even start

How come Nina's black outfit isn't an option in the game? Not even in customization. I think she looks way more awesome in that than the tattered wedding dress lol. I'm a little disappointed it's not available.
Been like that all day on the PS4.

Action 2 on "Guard all" will help you practice hit confirms.
if you have a hit confirm that works off CH, then counter hit set to "random" will help that one.
i.e: for dragunov i have random counter hit and action 2 -> guard all to practice hit confirming his (1,2) 1 string.

The only thing making me not sweat the PS4 connection problems is that I know once I get the game I wont go online for at least a couple of days while I get re-acclimated to Tekken.

Really enjoying Katarina, just spent the last 6 hours in training mode learning some 60-95 damage combos. Where to do them and what to add or remove to make them easy to land.
She has some really tight combos that need to be timed almost perfectly but damn they look cool and are just great when they land. Went from spamming 3,3,3,3,3 to to using her tools for proper damaging combos. Great rush.

Online wasn't working for me yesterday and haven't tried today. Loading on the game in general is on the "meh" side which is what put me off Tekken6 and SFV before so doesn't bode well.
Special Battle at the end of Story Mode (5 stars) is brutal. Eventually did it after a few hours but it's pretty freaking cheap! 10 stars is even worse, gave it a shot but sod that noise! Real sucky of namco not to have the character intro be skippable though given how many times the average player is gonna see the bloody thing!
Oh, and the game is on the ugly side (PS4 regular) and I usually don't say that about Tekken! Hopefully they can patch out that CA and blurry look the game has, it's really bad.

That ending was straight brilliant. They couldn't have done their actual fight and the aftermath any better for that man nor Kazuya. Shit was amazing. Even the scenes with their past conflicts? Man.
Agreed. Seeing the cutscenes from past games as they fought brought that battle to another level.

Super Devil Kazuya was some bullshit, but actually pretty easy once you understood the gimmick, it just took me a long time to figure out.
That whole last chapter was amazing though, with the flashbacks and everything, and the end of it. Fucking chills.
It was like the end of MGS4, a fitting end to an amazing character. In this world of devils and other bullshit, Heihachi was just a fucking dude.

Tekken is not known for it's story telling lol.
This game is fantastic but it's missing one small thing to make it even better.

Yeah, I hate to agree but I do. Bryan's is just a lazier version of his Tekken 6 ending, just shorter and less cool looking. I was really looking forward to these. Even when I didn't play Tekken at all I loved watching these online.
Also for the people suggesting Katarina for newcomers, I have to agree. As a pretty casual fighting game player, I went from getting 11 rounds in Treasure to 30 with her on my first try. Didn't pick her up beforehand, just figured her out as I went along. Her pokes are great and her move set seems really accessible. I'm really thinking about picking her up.
