And a roster full of characters people actually wanted.
Not just JP; check any other region, they have a chance to have it before US. I'm using one from Aussie or such that I used to get the KoF XIV demo early, and it was sitting there on the store, waiting for me.
And don't try to kid, KoF XIV not only looks better than this graphically, but has more characters out the box, and the price + it's DLC is still cheaper than this game plus it's first season pass / deluxe edition. The fact Capcom has previous work to draw off of, a huge license attached to them, and mountains more experience in making 3D fighters over the past gen shouldn't even have them in the ballpark for this kind of comparison to need to be made.

Not a fan of Thanos' design in MvC:I either, really. Even with his MCU design, there's just too much going on. Better when it's simpler.

I really do, considering I can find other pictures of Thanos that look much better, and yet they went with this design. Also, Chunners and Cap speak for themselves.
I honestly hope they pull a KOF XIV and update this before it releases because I really want this game to look and play good. But for their big E3 showing, this was embarrassing.

SFV was fine outside of the shitty online on day one.
MvC:I has to be the worst value proposition of a fighter I've seen (given the small roster and asset reusage) then not only do they have the gall to come out the gate with an 8 DLC character plan but some of said character feature in story mode and others are just MVC:U asset flips. I can't bring myself to buy this game despite spending a ridiculous amount of hours on other entries in the series.

People really thought this was bad? Chun-li is an abomination, but the rest was pretty solid, and there were a LOT of reveals. Sure, most of them are DLC, but they're still reveals.
