Arriving tomorrow. Can someone tell me the best six classes to use if I want to pretty much play the entire game with only Basch, Balthier and Ashe in my party?

With only 3, you want Ashe as a White Mage + Time Battlemage. Basch would be your main melee DPS, so you probably want Bushi + Knight. For Balthier, that leaves Black Mage, and Monk pairs very well with black mage.

Are playthroughs really that short? Is that including a good amount of side content or not? I was hoping for something closer to 70+ personally.

With all the side content it would be way over 100 on a first playthrough. All the hunts and bosses like Yiazmat will take a while.

Yes, each character can pick any of the 12 jobs when they join, but you cannot pick a 2nd job for any character until after a certain point in the story.

How did a DVD PS2 game blow up to 40GB???

Probably uncompressed assets, and there is three different versions of the OST entirely included in game, the original PS2 Synth, the PS2 OST high quality version, and the Remastered OST done specifically for this remaster by original composer Hitoshi Sakimoto. It's safe to say the soundtracks are ADPCM and not compressed either.

Oh gawd! I forgot this was coming out TOMORROW! It's so weird having Diablo, Crash, Tekken and now FFXII on my PS4. Nostalgia overload.

I believe it's just 1440P for 4K displays with no changes to 1080P displays. I'd be thrilled to be proven wrong!!
