I fuckin hate night clubs now man. All about the pubs now. You can still be social and you dont have to lean in and scream in someones ear. Ive been getting matches on Tinder but not even starting any convos. We all go through rutts. Then out of nowhere the dates will line up.

I find when I'm just focusing on myself is when the girls come. When I'm actively looking shit never happens. I think women can smell the desperation or confidence.

It's true, when you try it doesn't happen. When you stop trying to force it you'll get more success.

If something that should trigger it in regular conversation comes up then sure. But I wouldn't bring it up unprompted because its not really your duty to consider your ex in any decisions.

Forcing yourself to be more social is a good thing. You just cant force a relationship is all. You just gotta roll with vibe of the people you meet.

Yup. The times I do the best are when I am just out and having a good time just being myself and being social. As soon as the prowl mode gets turned on its like a lady repellent.

Took a classmate out for dessert since she saved me a few weeks back. Suppose to be an hour thing, tops. Ended up walking around for 6 hours, just talking. Even concluded the night with getting her wet and playing in huge fountain, having her lay on my lap for a good while afterwards. Insane how chemistry can be there for some people and absent in others. Nothing can result from this and I can still say that was an awesome memory for me.

Asked her out a week ago, tentatively planned for Thursday but she had to cancel cause of move and family stuff. Told her to let me know for the following week if not, we'll keep in touch. Got a message today about wanting to see each other this week. Supposedly even has a gift for me. On for Thursday. Nervous as fuck. Girl is a solid 10. Noticed her two years ago and the world stopped. Never attempted anything cause I was in a relationship. And now? a second outing?

I feel like I shouldn't be as happy about this as I am. I mean, it can go horrible but damm, one hell of a confidence booster. I rarely put myself out there after being burned in the past.

Good for you prologue. Best of luck. Thats a good feeling to have. On one hand you can get crushed but on the other you could have something special.

I actually just matched a girl on Tinder who came straight out of my dreams. I had to say something but not comment about her looks as I'm sure everyone does. Fingers crossed for a response. Its tough to know what to say when someones profile is basically perfect.

10/10, loves videogames, boxes, loves sci fi movies, likes dogs more than people.. the list goes on and it was basically a mirror of my own profile minus the 10/10

Free beer, wine and spirits made that a pretty common site, unfortunately. My mate's GF is newish friends with her, so I'll undoubtedly run into her again within a few weeks.

Jet skiing is so much fun, have only done it once in Malaysia but what a thrill going at such a high speed that the wind dries all the water on you and you're just gliding!
 
So dating gaf what is your take on calling vs texting when it comes to communicating with someone in the early stages of dating. I'm 25 and it seems everyone around my age pretty much only texts but I always hear advice to call her instead of text her, would like to hear your guys input on the subject.

I prefer texting, myself. In my experience, some girls like to call and I do it but I'm not a fan of talking on the phone in general. Usually because I'm doing something and now I have to stop to take a phone call. I guess it boils down to the situation and what you prefer.

I have a 4 stroke supercharged one sitting on the pontoon out the back of my house (water-front) but I don't ride it as much as I should have because I've taken it for granted. Like, most people would kill for that but because it's there I can rationalize "eh, I'll take it out next week". Imma go for a run on it this weekend. I'll sandwich it between 2 parties I have this weekend lol

Anyway was talking to a girl in class today who sat next to me and I think is pretty damn cool. Grabbed lunch and drinks, cracking jokes etc, was pretty fun. Unfortunately, I added her to facebook to add her to the group discussion page we have for assignments and she has a boyfriend. Oh well, she'll be cool to have as a friend. Similar fitness/career/study goals, so I need positive motivators like that lmao... and who knows, she might have some single friends ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Im starting to really like this women i met. I have seen her 4 times (we met at a bar). Every date has been fantastic. Was expecting a long busy date on friday but we ended up just getting a beer outside and then going back to her place and smoking weed and talking for like 4 hours. I went over to her place to go see GoT last night and it was just as much fun.

For me, I hate talking on the phone. I spend all day at work on the phone. The last thing I want to do is talk to my girl. I've only ever texted her.

Eeeek. Tbh all I had to do was work on my profile and try out a variety of types of responses and when one worked consistently it just gets stashed in the box of usables. I imagine "you must give good head" leads to many convos

Still can't really date due to finical reasons, but I have been on dates and they have went well for the most part. I'm taking to a few girls who know what's up, and are cool about it. Still I have to be pretty passive about things, and 1 girl I can tell is kinda done with it but that's fine. Fortunately things are looking up for me, so that's good. Been itching to really get back out there
 
I hate that I'm not witty or clever. My first responses are always weak. I usually comment about something they said in their profile because that seems like what you should be doing but I dont get many responses. I never get a witty first reply. Girls are almost always just like "hi" and that seems totally reasonable to me.

Don't put a lot of effort into first replies imo. Honestly, a simple hi or hey suffices with maybe a question. "Hey, I saw X do you like Y?" gets my interest in like 95% of opening messages.
