Well, two things here; I'm talking more about ranked, since that's all I ever play and I tend to forget Turf War exists, and I'm still leaning on my knowledge of the original since this game is so new. While the carbon has a narrower trail, I believe it's faster to make up for it. Kills are gotten by flicking the roller at your opponent, not rolling them down. Try it out in the test range. As for Ink Storm, that's admittedly a bit hard to use effectively; I find it best to use near ranked objectives, as it puts the other team at a disadvantage. How do you use it effectively? It's hard to kill with, can't lay down paint well and the special move sucks
You can't spawn on an ally. At any point in the game, as long as you're alive, if you press x and then a direction on the d pad (left up and right for each of your teammates and down for spawn) you will super jump to that location."Super jump" is just when you spawn on an ally after being splatted, right?

Yes, though actually you can superjump to allies or beakons at any time during the match. (Most people just use it after respawing though)"Super jump" is just when you spawn on an ally after being splatted, right?
Has anyone seen their single-player stats pop up in the SplatNet app? Under "Agent 4 Stats" I'm still listed as a Squidbeak Recruit (0%) even though I completed the campaign within the first day of release and have run a few of the missions again since.

Yep, you can do it anytime though.

Yeah, I've had some clutch superjumps out of bad situations. In splatoon 1's turf wars, I'd actually sometimes super jump out if I found myself trapped rather than letting myself get killed and sit through the respawn timer. If you have beakons then you can hop around the battlefield painting as needed if necessary too![]()
I swear I've been getting some funky hit detection going on. Had a Splattershot Jr wielding enemy running straight towards me out of range of my Splattershot Pro, both shooting directly at each other and he managed to kill me first.
I just outlined his body until he was close enough to hit me.
Has anyone at Nintendo given a reason why Salmon Run is only available on certain days? It's really dumb seeing it was available 1am-1pm on a weekday![]()
At least it's available most of the weekend though.
Idk but I hope it doesnt last long. Its almost worth the price of admission (with a few more stages, Features)Has anyone at Nintendo given a reason why Salmon Run is only available on certain days? It's really dumb seeing it was available 1am-1pm on a weekday![]()

If you talk to murch just outside the lobby building in 'the square' he lets you scrub your equipment, which will take any sub-abilities off it returning them to random locked slots that will re-open with experience. Any abilties removed by this scrub will leave 'ability chunks' in your inventory. Every 10 chunks = you spend them at murch to slot that ability into one sub slot on equipment of your choice :3
Thanks so much! I balked at the 20k to wipe and never understood how to get the ability chunks ^.^'
That dude I checked out must be loaded![]()
Yeah, it's oddly satisfying to deny them what they thought was a certain kill and just constantly slip through their fingers, plus the time you save not respawning is more time you can spend inking/objective hunting :3Yeah, I've had some clutch superjumps out of bad situations.
My current strat in rainmaker is to drop back after getting my team to the rainmaker, recover a decent chunk of ink ASAP then circle round and kill the enemy team from behind while they're preoccupied shooting the barrier. I've managed full team-kills leaving us a massive uncontested run with the rainmaker doing this :3I've uh... drifted into being an Inkbrush user.
I didn't like it at first, but it's an incredibly versatile support weapon in Rainmaker and Tower Control. You dash forward and create a path using the brush with your allies close behind, then drop back at the first sign of danger behind, before popping back up to harass or finish off people. It's all about quick and incisive decisions, rapid movement - great fun and I think super useful.
Bloody useless in Splatzones, though.
Tower Control just sucks.

Did the servers doe for anyone else?
No, I definitely think it was too much to ask to win against two enemies on Tower as three of you and me providing you with nine Ink Armors. And being the only Tower Rider. I'm totally okay! Completely haha... ha....
how
Yep. Stuck waiting for a Battle for two minutes now. I NEEDED TO FIX THIS ABOVE. ;-;
Uhh I'm just stuck at the "Searching for a battle to join" screen. Will I lose rank or anything if I hard quit the software?
It sounds like your teammates were bad, but what's wrong with being the only tower rider?
