I really want to recommend the Splatoon Hybrid case to everyone. Looks great and with a USB-C extender cable you can get rid of your dock and have it nicely displayed

Wow, that seems incredibly powerful. Is it 100% invisible or can an observant player still see a little something to let them know you're incoming.
Right now I'm rocking a nice pair of black pull-ons with Ink Saver (Main) as the main ability, but if I can get these and super jump with impunity then fuck yeah, I'll switch in a heartbeat.
If there are players near by where you are super jumping, they can see it. It is only invisible from a distance.

You push down the tabs inside the dock and connect the female side into the dock. Then you plug in the other end to your Switch. It's a great case, comes with a kick stand and looks great!
EDIT: I realize I said you can "get rid" of your dock. This is incorrect. I just pushed it out of view behind my TV. That's what I meant, you don't see it. You need to have the dock because the end of the USB-C extender is plugged into it.

I just realized that the Drink Menu at Crusty Sean shows what brand gives a higher chance of rolling a special ability! I won't have to keep looking online for a chart.
For example Tentatek items a higher chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up when you level them, and you can see the Tentatek brand icon in the upper right corner. So many small but awesome improvements in this game.
Ah okay. Still, this seems pretty cool. And since that case is still on sale I should go pick it up...

My go-to weapon in Splatoon 1 was the Dual Squelcher. In Splatoon 2 I played Splat Dualies all the way through Ranked until I unlocked the Jet Squelcher, then switched to that the rest of the way. The new Dualie Squelchers sound so perfect for me, sub and special included, it's downright silly.

Anywho, I keep trying different weapons. I was a T.Splatershot player mainly I think in Splatoon 1, but man, I absolutely love the Splat Dualies in this game. The dodge roll, the Tenta Missiles, so good. I'm even warming up to the Burst Bombs, which I never really cared for before (in comparison to other subs).

I feel like I got exceptionally lucky in my matches. Played my first couple of games of rainmaker today and everyone always raced to the objective or flanking points.

Nope, that's locked. That's why Splatnet is really cool, because you can get different main abilities than the default ones sold in stores.
Hmmm i will keep an eye on Players, Splatnet and the ingame stores then. I really want some cool/nice looking clothes for my squid but with nice main abilites too.

Can I add additional ability slots to 1 star items in the future?
If i buy that one will it replace the older one? Cuz that one seems more useful overall got enough special saver on other gear.
If you order another item on splatnet it will cancel your original order unless you have picked it up in game already.

?? How. The vents are on the open end. Or because it's running through an extension USB? I notice no difference in charging times this method or on the dock. I've picked it up after a few sessions of running the dock, no heat on it at all. So it seems completely fine, and I'll let you know if it catches fire!

I played like 5 games with all Japanese. I love how they play. At the beginning they don't cover the base. They all run to the middle quickly. So my Aerospray's special builds up fast. I run with them and use my special quickly in the middle. When I die I come back to the base and cover it up to get lots of points since they wait later to do the base.
That Shipyard map can suck if the other team dominates they come all up in your spawn. I love it.

Yep. Murch will ask you which one to keep. You don't get ability chunks like the Salmon Run shirts though.

I think someone said you'll need Sea Shells that you get from Splatfest. Maybe they're not called Sea Shells exactly....

Arms had a new character, new Arms, a new stage, added stat tracking, spectator mode, and a new lobby type. I don't know what more you expect by now.
The game already shipped over a million so I doubt it will be considered a failure.

I love how Salmon Run MADE you do a tutorial to understand how to play. They should've done a similar thing in Ranked, force you through a quick tutorial so everyone understands how to play.
I ranked up from C- to B this morning in Splatzones. Man the N-Zapper is so awesome in Ranked. It has an awesome subweapon, the sticky delay bombs, and the its super, invincible armor, is so useful. Plus it has great range and fire rate. Zapper seems to be really really well suited for the ranked modes.

i bought whatever looked cool first before having that in mind. So cool that is all cleared up now. And glad you can replace old gear in a way if needed.
Yeah, I noticed that as well. Really cool of them to change things up and get you to keep checking SplatNet.
I think I might get that beret actually. I almost always have a positive kdr in matches, so special charge up is probably better than special saver. It's a shame everything is so expensive though.

Can someone please point me to a chart that shows what all the ability icons in this game mean? It's incredibly frustrating going on SplatNet and not knowing what some or the ability icons are and not being able to find out anywhere

Nintendo actually has a good track record of updating their games to respond to "fans". I mean, they even went back and updated Codename STEAM, a game that nobody really purchased after it got trashed for having slow wait times. I believe they'll come back to the SplatApp and improve it.... it may just happen in 2018 lol

Uh... I hate every teammates who use aerospray in rank, they are always outranged by enemy and keep dying, failed to fill their special and became useless.
