You can use the sticks and buttons to do pixel by pixel art. People are using an app to convert any image into compatible pixel drawings and then doing them on the switch that way.

They won't. It was actually worse in the first game, you had to watch it every change.
Importing is your only option, there's no NA release confirmed.

For some reason, people teabagging in Splatoon make me really mad.
You don't need to respond to those people.
There's tons of bioshock hate on gaf I have seen, but I just ignore it because it's a great game to me.

Had a game where I splatted the guy with the rainmaker as he was in the air to dunk it for the KO, turned it around and won.

Picked up a Switch & Splatoon 2 over the weekend and have been grinding though Turf Battles yesterday and a bit of today.
There are times when I have wanted to throw my joy-cons due to my teammates worrying about kill ratios than splitting turf.
Ah well, love the game regardless.

Can I report people from salmon run? I got grouped up with a guy three times in a row, who didn't do anything. Knocked me right out of overachiever
People criticize baffling and frustrating design choices. That's something you'll have to get used to, especially if you want to frequent the community of a game with so many questionable decisions.

love the game! Anyone else still rocking the starting weapon as their main weapon? I prefer it all the others I've unlocked so far

Cynical old man here... finally caved and bought the game on the eShop last night.
Wow I love this damn game. Had to turn motion controls off, but wow. The campaign feels a bit like a 3D Mario (ala 64) in that there are hubs with interesting things to do, and levels with hidden stuff/platforming.
Multiplayer is actually a lot better than the splatfest for me. Finding games quickly (I do have to go to the Switch menu and "test" my connection every once in a while) and pleasantly surprised that Salmon Run is open for 12 hours at a time. Wish it was always open, but I am finding myself okay with the design choices people have critiqued - the two map rotation does help me learn the maps, not being able to switch guns without exiting a game after it is fully finished isn't a biggie since games take 3 minutes and loading is quick, and Salmon Run seems to be open enough that I can get my fill while it is up.
I sure wish I could get into the motion controls thing though. Tried the joycons, tried pro controller, tried tablet mode... it just doesn't work for me. Wish it did, it seems like people who get it are gonna have an upper hand ala Mouse+KB.

Yeah, it's weird that you can't fast forward or skip the news broadcasts.
Then again in the first game they decided that they didn't need a voice chat option. Baby steps.
The worst is when people go "DON'T LIKE, DON'T PLAY!" There's no need for that when people have reasonable complaints.
I wouldn't go that far but yes I find it annoying - the only thing I don't like in the game.

I think you can do that in the app. Just search for your history and select that match

Is the online regional based? Because I barely saw any DC but I am in Sweden.
Some people have shitty internet, or some terribad luck because out of the 180+ matches i've played so far, i've only ever had 5 matches with 3 or less team members.
It's the sound mixed with the visuals.
It's both a celebratory dance at the end of victories, yet one of the more angering taunts in gaming at the same time. :|

I've had two in-game disconnects since I bought the game and they both felt random with no obvious lag before they happened, otherwise my connection to the game has been as solid as possible.
Haha, same here. Only reason the game has left my Switch is because my wife wants to play Mario Kart.

You know what? Me neither! And I mostly use my my phone as a mobile hotspot and it works perfectly.
Agreed when in dire situations use em it does not matter what wave it is. People keep saving them for the last wave that's what i noticed so far.

Just won a match with a guy who only got (1)260 points with the Splatling. As a Splatling main, this angers me.
