The overtime mechanic works really well in Tower Control. SUPER satisfying to stage a successful come back! (And equally heartbreaking to lose in OT, haha.)

Had one of my best matches ever earlier tonight and my team pulled out all the stops to make a run back in OT, I was cheering at my TV, haha!

Yep. If it was you, then it was both amazing and slightly depressing how fast your team won. Well it's C rank so that sort of thing happens practically every game.

I've won 4 or 5 matches tonight by 1 point in overtime - never felt this way before, but MAN I wish there was some sort of trophy for pulling off some of the crazy/ballsy stuff I've done tonight to win these matches!

honestly ive been doing way better in turf with dual squelchers and nzap than the MG

i guess when playing with randoms the ability to splat from a distance and stop the enemy from inking is worth more to me than me being able to ink fast myself

It's not going to be nerfed, it never was in the first game. It's not OP at all, there is no range there.

Aero is fine as is. Its lack of range and kill power limits it when faced against somebody with range, like a regular splattershot. I ink the most even with aero teammates and opponents and I use .52 gal on turf wars. There's value in limiting their inking time and inking territory with long range weapons at turf wars.

anyone know why i keep getting communication errors and then connection error when my wifi is perfectly fine? it happened like 8 times in an hour earlier and now i get a warning when i play that i could be blocked from online play if i happens again. Mario kart plays fine

If saving up money is your number one concern then go ahead and wait for the third one. But considering it only costs 2000 to scrub the Splatfest tee (compared to the 20,000 to scrub everything else), a lot of folks see this as a way to get ability chunks.

Man, I really can't stress how important it is to lay ground cover in rainmaker. There's no point in grabbing the thing if you have nowhere to go.

It's understandable to use aero on turf wars because it racks up points faster than any other weapon plus it's pretty ink efficient. In Splatoon 1, aero RG has been my go-to weapon because of that, and I can see newcomers fall in love with that weapon easily because of those reasons.

If you've progessed in Story Mode there are some tickets on the hub worlds. I don't know if things have been patched but if you keep getting those tickets, and then you leave single player mode, then come back in, the tickets are back to collect.

Theres no reason why it should be this slow when youre below level 20.

Had I known this ahead of time I would've used Facebook instead of Twitter since I'm more active there... But I can't seem to find anything confirming any of this. Wish we knew more about how it works...
