Booyah or not, they must be the worse people ever. I did well enough to probably carry a fairly mediocre team. These motherfuckers need Jesus

I bought a Splattershot Pro and took it to the Splatfest. It's surprisingly fun, but it's an ink-guzzler. This thing needs an ink use bonus badly. Or just stack on Special Charge Up since that also refills your ink.
Still, I like it so far. Good range, like seriously good range, and it packs a punch. It could paint better and it could use less ink, but overall, I'm keeping it for now. The Ink Storm is amazing cover against close range enemies. Toss the storm and run inside it. Enemy can't close in and you have a long range weapon.

By the end of the Splatfest, when the results are posted you receive a number of Super Snails. These can be used by Murch to mod your gear free of charge (as well as add more skill slots to weaker gear). The number of Snails you get depends on the rank you achieve by the end. Of course, being on the winning team nets you more Snails by default.are there any benefits of getting the higher Splatfest ranks (defender, Champion, etc)
never played the first game or any of the tests of 2 so I don't know how any of this works for Splatfests

More super snails reward after the splatfest wich you can reroll soecific slots with and get extra slots on gear wich have fewer than 4 total.

ahh...ok
probably won't get anywhere near the top rank but will try and get to at least Defender by the end of it
Its easy to hit champion at least.
Killing 2 Steelheads with one splashdownAlso, is it possible to feel more like a boss than soloing a Flyfish in the first cycle?
That IS pretty decent imho, I'm at 1900.What's a decent Mayo/Ketchup Power? i'm at 2000-ish
Ketchup Vs Ketchup. The real splatfest we all knew would happen.

What determines the winner of the splat fest?
Get some special saver and ink saver on it and its bliss. That rain cloud is great.

Is there any comparison of Ink Saver vs Ink Recovery Up? I've been using saver and it lasts quite a while but the recharge time (especially in tight situations) is horrendous. Wondering if it might be worth it to have one of each instead of 2x Saver.
Okay, I can't be the only one getting some real wonky percentages at the end. I had one where they said my side lost by over 10%, and there is no way. 3-5% I could have bought but it was way, way closer than 10
I dunno, I see the same level discrepancy in Overwatch and it's still mostly on skill.New player here.
The levels of the teams are always so imbalanced.
You know if you've won or lost just looking at the teams before the match even starts.
Walls still don't count. It's the walls, some maps have tons of walls you can paint but you never see them as being inked on the maps it pisses me off
Great. Almost had a Ketchup/Mayo battle and good ol matchmaking decides to drop them and replace it with another Ketchup team...
