Getting to Superfresh is hell itself. Too reliant on luck (aka not getting disconnects or idiots that throw games because they're not on their friends team)

Any idea what the criteria is for doing well enough? I've gotten to A- in a couple of the game modes, but not once did my rank jump more than one level, and I thought I had some real good performances during that time of ranking up.

I mean in Rainmaker I once managed to take it from the default point all the way to the enemy spawn (rainmaker point) and didn't rank up any more than one level. I actually couldn't have a better performance than that! The match lasted less than a minute.

Honestly have no idea, sadly. With Splat Zones I didn't lose a single match and all were KO's, but Tower Control I lost a couple toward the end and had a couple of quite close matches. Both went straight to B. Rainmaker I sucked at and only went up one each time. It's been a struggle there.
 
I totally forgot that there are mini games to unlock! I need something to keep me busy too while I patiently wait to be trolled by SplatGAF.

Has Nintendo said anything recently about a spectator mode? I could have sworn that there was going to be one this time.

To overcome the ninja squid swim speed nerf I only need one main and a sub eight? Not all of this?

There is only one minigame this time in Splatoon 2 instead of several like 1:( my only big dissapointment with this game.

Whenever I play with randoms I always Booyah at the start of a match and if I get some echoes then I feel as if there's a chance I have a teammate or two that has team awareness. Of course when I play with Splatgaf and I've just joined I always do it and usually get it in return. It's a hello.

But yes, spamming anything out of context is annoying.

I have a nice pair of Norimakis w/ main Swim Speed+ and 2 sub swim speed+, but the grind for chunks for another is going to kill me. I get barely any w/ KRAK-ON and got like none in splatfest.

Look, I didnt understand what the rules to Rainmaker were when I first loaded it up, but I watched other people and figured it out. I didnt just paint everything like in Turf War. haha

I had someone on my team that really just wanted to paint.

Yeah, I use the "This Way!" emote to signal that teammates should jump to me or follow me through some side-lane instead of blindly going through the middle where the entire opposite team is.

I like a good Booyah at the start or when someone splats an enemy! It's cool as hell.

I have a few times accidentally hit the wrong button. However the only time I'm hitting "This way" is when my team is constantly dying and I'm trying to have them follow or jump to a safe area. I can't tell you how many times I've been in the middle of the stage inking away while the entire opposing team is camped near the spawn point and my teammates keep running to their death over and over and over. I'll hit Booyah if we made a big comeback or me and another teammate make a huge feat. For example when tower control map earlier today we were down 1 player from the start and another one just stood in the corner half the match. Me and my teammate almost won with me killing 28 people and my teammate killing 21 people. We made it to the 5 meter mark before losing control and ultimately losing. The 3rd player decided to start playing when he saw we almost won but it was too late at that point but he did kill 3 people surprisingly.
 
Is there any reason to get all the scrolls and fish from each campaign level outside of wanting to read the scrolls? Anything I would miss?

I've missed like 3-4 items and I'm at the final world now so I was curious.
 
The Goo Tuber during a glowflies rush, woof. Glad I can get about 100p a game though thanks to Profreshional

No not really, I guess if you want to max out weapons, but you can just beat boss fights for that.
 
Frankly I can't imagine not going for the collectibles if you're bothering to play through the story mode to begin with. They put effort into the scrolls and they're fun to read and look at. Plus the scrolls and sardinium are often cleverly hidden and fun to find.
 
Whats up with the hero shot replica? I swear it has really good range, good fire rate, and high power cause it seems to only takes 2 shots to take me down. Or am i just imagining things?
 
Really enjoying the regular Inkbrush lately. Been kinda re-evaluating it's kit. Splashdown doesn't seem like it makes a ton of sense, but there are some interesting and chaotic zoning things you can do.

Splat Bomb + Splashdown + Splat Bomb is the new panic button. That clears people out real quick.

no, that wouldn't be enough. The person on my team who goes into Rainmaker with a Tri-Slosher and literally just stands on our goal waiting, like we're playing Rocket League, watching as the enemy pushes closer and closer, while we can't even get the damn thing past the center of the map because WE'RE playing with three people and one ' ' goalie ' '... you deserve worse than words you son of a piece of shit lmao
