Wasn't there a way to set up reset with the controller for the NES Mini?

When the hack/mod was released, you could add the down + select = reset functionality to every controller including the wired ones in box.

As of right now, the only way to do that for the snes classic is using an 8bitdo with retro receiver OR some of the Wii classic controllers with a home button.

100%, but you get less saves as you add more games to it.

4 slots per game: 32
3 slots per game: 39
2 slots per game: 48
1 slot per game: 65

Once you go over 65, you then have less than 1 slot per game, meaning some games will stop saving. Around 90 and you get ZERO slots per game.

Ok. So maybe next time don’t act like I’m crazy for suggesting there are problems when you keep all the games in one row?

But anyways, I changed mine up yesterday. I do like it much better in one row. I’ll just have to see if the save state issue becomes a problem for me. In general I only play one game at a time anyways so hopefully not.

If you get to stage 3, the industrial area, there's a spot halfway through the level where a load of guys jump out of a spinning space ship thingy. It's just after you've climbed up the big wall. They keep hopping out until you shoot down the vehicle. If you stand on the far left and just keep shooting, you can farm lives here, and the enemies can't get you. I think lives top out at 30? Takes a little while though.

How do you properly track your order or did anyone receive it already?
The tracking starts with HS and ends with FR and when I plug it in various tracking sites, it tells me it was out for delivery on 30th???????

Chronology.fr says it was out for delivery on 30th. But USPS has no record even though it was EMS.

Yeah, the Wii Classic Pro Controller plus a extension cable means I can reset by pressing the home button and never have to shift my arse to use the rewind / save / swap game functionality. Win!!

If you're only using it for classic SNES then it's a cheaper option, ignoring looks.

If you want a bit of versatility go with the original as it works with switch etc.

For anyone not getting enough power from USB, use a y-cable. Both Wii and Wii U forced me to get one for my portable hard drive. It works for SNES too

CRT is gorgeous on this. The alternative they show in their video, that Sony display, is nothing like what we had a kid. The slightly blurry faint scanline CRT filter on the SNES Mini is far closer to my childhood TV.

I actually just ended a chat with a Walmart rep earlier today and was told mine would be shipping today to arrive tomorrow. I'm a 8/25 order with an estimated date of 10/3 arrival.

Now I also asked this past Friday and was told my order would ship that day, 9/29. So I'm assuming the reps don't even know when orders will ship and are just saying what will get them off the chat quickest.

I've contacted Walmart a couple times about my 8/22 order that hasn't shipped. They just tell me my fulfillment center doesn't have stock and my order will be shipped when/if they get more, and if they can't ship it after a week of the expected delivery date (Oct 5 for me), they'll cancel the order.

I also think CRT is the best, and I grew up without CRT TVs. FFVI especially looks amazing.

You should be fine. I bought the best buy ones and there's no noticable input lag. The length of the cable shouldn't affect input, at lengths under 50 feet at least, the only thing that would affect input lag would be the quality of the cable (if it's a crappy cable with bad soldering, crappy quality wiring, etc.)

I haven't noticed any lag. I think they're really good cables, and a bunch of other people in this thread have said the same.
