They havent decided on price yet, up until now all they've talked about is ssd, spider man load times on a ps4 game and that silly ps5 logo that shows a lack of confidence, scared to show the specs or hardware. So i have a hunch they are cowards?

If not then why talk about ps5 and say its coming this year?

Its already february they said they wont attend e3 so whats up! Common sense says they must have the weaker console and probably went back to the design board.

id like to believe that sony arent so stupid to release a 9 teraflops console against a 12 teraflops console just as stupid as that godfall demo vs hellblade 2.

They dont know the specs but they sure know which one is more powerful i remember being 12 and fighting to get the xbox cause it was more powerful and got the ps2 i was mad until i started loving, besides

Its not just the games that made ps4 outsell the xbone its the specs and the multiplat performance aswell, early this gen ps4 already showed it can hit a game like battlefield 4 60 fps 1080p solid where as the xbone was stuggling at 900p 40-50+ fps, this is enough to change consumer direction,. Same reason why the 360 gave the ps3 a hard time multiplats where performing well on 360 it was cheaper and had better desigbed hardware overall and it took sony a couple of god of wars, uncharteds and the last of us to beat the 360.

You should probably calm down. They haven't even shown the product yet. Do you think they will go up to the release without expressing the date, details, launch titles etc? Be patient. They have a plan, and will follow it. Times changes, and so does the flow of information. The time during the PS4 launch is not the same as the time for the PS5 launch. You have to adapt, and that's what they have done.

Both Sony and MS have got up until GDC to officially come out and talk about their specs. It will all come out at GDC regardless, I am sure that both of them will want to control that message themselves and have an event prior to GDC. Neither need to talk about price for a while yet, MS will probably reveal the price and open pre-orders during E3.

Ps4 first reveal with specs was February 20th 2013 before the November launch of that year. So Im not sure exactly what you want or why you need the full reveal sooner than previous generation one. Also, does it have to be even around the same time before launch as it was last time? Different strategies, different timeline. Also back then PS3 just took over the sales of the xbox. Playstation was destroying since day one the xbox brand this generation, they can do whatever they want. Its the second most successful SONY console, they dont need to repeat same things they did before. You sound like you are 12.

I think they have the weaker console by a significant margin and are avoiding direct confrontation. Explains their absence from E3 as they don't want the PS5 to go head to head in a ring with the Series X.

Their communication with the PS4 was absolutely ruthless and made them the peoples champ. Now they seem to be shying away from showing anything, doesn't feel like they are particularly confident.
