No, devs had 5GBs for game development for the base systems. This gets bumped up to 13.5GBs for XBOX X.

Ah, I forgot about that with the 8. So that makes sense, 13.5GB available is quite a jump. Still just curious about how that bandwidth will be affected or IF it will be affected. I'd assume that the OS pieces run out of the slower pool of memory so that the bulk of the available memory is in the faster bank?

Yes there is 10GBs worth of 500+ GB/s bandwidth specifically for GPU handling and then another 3.5GBs of slower 300GB/s ram for I guess system or whatever.
