I think a great thread for the forum would be "Pitch the Metroid movie". Just the basic plot and idea you have for a movie.

I'd go with scary, Alien vibes and the suit is shit tier until almost at the end of the movie to defeat the final boss. No Ridley, yes Mother brain or something like that. No morph ball ofc but yes the scanner with a cool voice for descriptions.

It would be complete copy paste from genre tropes and a trash movie overall but it can work since gamers are gonna watch it and hate it no matter what.

Bingo. Deadpool succeeded largely because Reynolds was passionate about the source material. Yet we have a thread half filled with complaints that she has no ass, when body doubles exist, and most of any movie should NOT be upskirt shots.

I genuinely love her, but her performance in Prometheus wasn't very good. Granted there wasn't much she could do in that role to shine, but maybe if she'd just ran to the side like a few metres, she'd still be alive.

I'd really love to see Brie in the role. She's clearly a massive Nintendo fan which we can only hope would mean she has a good understanding of what makes Metroid, well Metroid.

I mean, it does make sense, Samus uses an ice beam to defeat metroids, and Brie Larson already starts with the Ice Heart charge combo upgrade so she'll be able to breeze through the early game.
