i think they purposely made it so, so that the AI wont interrupt your playthrough in 1 seating.

I watched Alanahs video yesterday and she said the ai is dumb but she thinks it's meant to be dumb. Otherwise it would be very frustrating seeing as you die quickly and would need to restart. The focus is less on the killing the mobs and more on the observation and planning it seems, with guns and abilities to facilitate your execution

not gonna lie here, i preordered the deluxe edition, the gameplay setting really interest me, i like games that has the reset element.

I will go blindly in this game, hope it turns out worth the money.

I think they had poor sales on their core titles. So Deathpoop and Redfall are probably Bethesda's attempts to have them turn a profit with more action oriented stuff or multiplayer stuff, and were likely both in full production before the MS acquisition.

It is theoretically possible that now that they have secured funding indefinitely, and don't really even need high sales numbers anymore - they may go back to more niche content in the future. We'll just have to wait a few years and see what their next, next project is lol.

I thought it looked like a mashup of hitman, dishonored and goldeneye, im still holding out hope that its good. Was going to grab Tales of Arise but held off until reviews drop for this.

I think this is the case. This gameplay seems almost like the person who made it was trying to make the game seem as boring as possible. Either that or they just have a gross misunderstanding of how the game works.

I'm desperate for something new to play. Love Arkane's stuff but so far have a strong dislike for the art direction and gameplay loop on this one. Still gonna buy it because I'm desperate for single player FPS content tho.

Tech is fine, but the art is just so ugly. Hopefully the smooth and slick Arkane gameplay makes up for my perceived shortcoming seen in the previews. If not I'm gonna smash that refund button on Steam.

I think the people that actually play it will find a very complex set of events that interlock into a crazy time puzzle.

It's not for me, but I have no doubt it'll have some clever elements.
