Huh honestly I wouldn't think they were UK if you didn't mention it; I just pick up an almost American style country (well sort of country/rock) music style accent from the vocals.

I do remember American country music being surprisingly popular in rural areas of England when I was there years and years ago. Guess the vocal style crossed over.
