But that do not change my mind that a PS5 is weak as fuck lol. Can't wait for November 7 edit. Wrong side 🤦‍♂️

I have the ability to play all Nintendo/Sony/Xbox games natively setup in my house plus a Dreamcast.

And of course a handful of gaming PCs/laptops/Steamdeck.

How anyone operates a PC with only one screen is beyond me. Getting a second screen easily doubles your productivity with whatever you are doing.

I use 2 screens for work but this is quite the exaggeration.

I had 2 screens did not give me much…

I'd feel claustrophobic playing there. Which is silly, because that's how I used to game before buying my first home.

While I have a dual monitor set up, it's very much contextual. A lot of the time I don't need the second, but when I do it's great to have. My second is in portrait orientation, which is excellent in its own way but again very contextual.

I suppose the ideal would be 3: 2 landscape, 1 portrait. Alternatively, replace the 2 landscape with 1 ultrawide and achieve largely the same results.

I only have one screen at home... it's just a 49 inch, 32:9 ultrawide... with two inputs, so I can toggle between 32:9 PC or side by side 16:9 PC / Game console.

I used to think that way, but the 55" OLED I use gives me plenty of real estate and a heck of a lot less cords.

Sure, but the likes of Jez, Colt, Tom, Paul, Ryan etc, aren't going to go quietly.

They will all no doubt be involved in the next crusade.

They would but I can hardly imagine what that looks like. It's a fight between open standards and microsoft's standards. I doubt colt could even understand it.

If they tried to turn their fan army that way, it wouldn't work. Too many of them would want a console war or nothing, a bunch more would be as dumb as colt and treat it like a console war.

And the ms journalist rings wouldn't have a great time, either. Try making click bait about the dangers of developers considering portability in their code. With single-digit end user share, trying to draw negative attention towards Linux gaming would give it more visibility than anything.

They'll try though and it should be fun.

PC + PS5 + 2 monitors = my exact setup lol.

I can do productivity things like movies, youtube, twitch, work on my PC and then i play games on my PS5, without alt-tab crap.

Here's the mystery
Every PC gamer eventually needs a Playstation
but no Playstation gamer needs a gaming PC.
You really have no idea how many games you cannot play on a console. Stuck in AAA mainstream media land. I have both and my PS5 is only still in the house for my 10 year old son. I won't bother naming a few, you're not that stupid that you can't look it up yourself. There are way more games on PC than on consoles. Many free games you still need to pay for on consoles like classics. But whatever makes you feel good kiddo.

My current setup is PC - PS5 - Switch, but I will give my PS5 away after Rebirth, as it is redundant. I will keep the Switch, obviously, for Nintendo exclusives and portability. I will keep the DualSense controller for Sony's PC games and the Series controller as my main controller, and the Pro controller for the Switch.

You can consider replacing the PS5 with a potted plant to add some greenery to the setup

Get some nice warm lights to make that room extra cozy. Unless its blinding sunlight im seeing 🤔
Also... Love how ur tv size looks perfect for your sitting distance. 👍

OverHeat OverHeat Some black side plates on that PS5 would blend it in a bit better.

The lights can be configured via phone app for different colours and or even turn them off individually as needed. Just didn't do that for the photo.

My PS5 and 2 PC's (gaming PC and media PC) are in my living room connected to my TV and backed by a full 5.1 surround sound home theater

I also have a Switch
