Congrats! I've somehow got the oldest Gaol twice without even tryingAnd there it is:

Close to 120 hours clocked, last trophy needed was Oldest Gaol, insane how RNG dependent it is. Last couple of nights I've just been focused on getting it, went into every run with stonesword key relic, usually picked up another, didn't activate gaols until night 2 level 10+, finally got the Ancient Dragon today, good times. Looking forward to the next Super Saiyan Nightlord though my main focus will now shift to Death Stranding 2, eating real good this year![]()
I've never been as bad at a game as I am at this!
I've progressively gotten worse, especially in solo but it's now began to happen in multiplayer.
The majority of solo runs I end day 1 on level 1 as I die before upgrading from level 2 and the rain has engulfed the area where my runes are.
Its now happened in multiplayer a couple of times and I am seriously ruining everyone's experience.
I've never had any problems with getting good in fromsoftware games and completed all of them but doing things with haste is my biggest issue.
Its kind of hilarious observing how each run falls apart from inability!
I should start to make video content as it's kind of amazing to see.
Huh, didn't know that. How do you even know which boss you have beaten with which character? The list of bosses doesn't even show which ones you have beaten. Of course they are so painful that you remember for sure once you beat themOn the bright side I did get the plat from beating Augur with Executor. I had somehow gotten in my head that you needed to beat the same Nightlord with all characters, not just beat a Nightlord with all characters. Hoping to get my revenge on the night soon.
not just beat a Nightlord with all characters.

You say that but...Guys you just need to beat ANY Nightlord with each character, that's it, I pointed it out in a previous post, it's actually one of the easiest trophies in the game![]()
Guardian just fucking sucks
I've not had the Crater in a while now, since I started the game in fact, is there a way to even get it randomly now? Like a specific boss to grind?
Yea I may start doing that instead and try and beat himNo argument there, he's trash lol. One thing I realized early on is to ditch his starting weapon asap, literally anything is better, sword, whip, bow, anything. The attack animations/speed on halberds just aren't effective, doesn't matter that it's his weapon specialty. Other characters I can clear a run with their starting weapons no problem (upgraded of course).
It's random so your best bet is to beat enhanced Adel which will then allow you to spend the new currency to get specific Shifting Earth events, that's how I got my trophy for Shrouded City.
I ignore the weapon preferences and skills of characters I don't like and play it like a ER melee build. You say that but...
Guardian just fucking sucks, 5 games in a row with him in a team and even at level 15 he's just bad, I cannot seem to get a good build with him, his Abilities suck and though the Solaire Skin is cool, once I have this trophy I'm not touching him again, even the easiest boss in Auger-hes usesless in that fight
Aside from that, I've not had the Crater in a while now, since I started the game in fact, is there a way to even get it randomly now? Like a specific boss to grind?
I didn't play ER dlc, as long as you know ER gameplay mechanics, most of them apply to Nightreign.I have a few friends that are putting on the full court press for me to get this (buddies that I play Nioh with) but I have a few questions to you all that have played this extensivly..
Should I complete Elden Ring before this?
What is the "DLC" with the Deluxe Edition?
Is performance at least decent on PS5 Pro?
Have they announced a road map yet?
Thanks in advance!
Not necessary, but being familiar with base Elden Ring will help you understand what weapons/items do what. It does help since the game is quite fast paced. You'll get familiar with everything regardless though as you play.Should I complete Elden Ring before this?
You should because after playing Nightreign and how much mobility and speed you have you'll never want to return to Elden Ring from a combat perspective.Should I complete Elden Ring before this?
this must be a typo.it will release in Q4 2026.
You don't really need to complete Elden Ring first. They share some enemies/bosses and while this is technically a continuation of the Elden Ring story, story stuff is relatively sparse outside of the remembrance stuff and even then…I have a few friends that are putting on the full court press for me to get this (buddies that I play Nioh with) but I have a few questions to you all that have played this extensivly..

Yes... It's 2025.this must be a typo.
Still only barely beat this MF'er once. Very excited for him to tear me a new one. Many new ones.
Any introductory videos or something else? Or simply just play and got good?
The formula is really different, so the first few matches will feel confusing anyway.Ok, seeing the reception I'm happy to eat crow and buy the game, any suggestion for where to start? Any introductory videos or something else? Or simply just play and got good? (Played and completed all the souls, I'm a shitty player but enjoy the formula)
I've been running games with two friends, one of which whom I fully co-op completed Elden Ring with, no mods!I've never been as bad at a game as I am at this!

To add to this, you always start near a group of weak enemies and a grace, kill these first thing and you immediately hit level 2 every time.2. Get to L2 fast, it causes a big jump in HP. It's just around 4,000 runes.
There several +1 stones in the cave as well though, I've only ever had to buy one if we didn't go to a cave at allthen when you see a blacksmith buy the lower +1 smithing stone
I am doing something wrong. Tried again and got four insta deaths from those ground flares in the very beginning of the fight. I wonder if it's because I am Ironeye. I guess next time I will just try to run and not shoot and see what happensYeah I think he does some hand animation, watch his hands. Still always a good thing to not animation lock yourself for too long in that fight.
Just did a match and got disconnected right before the final boss. Just like everyone else on Steam it seems. Thank you Dark Souls.
Just some random video but look at his hands here:I am doing something wrong. Tried again and got four insta deaths from those ground flares in the very beginning of the fight. I wonder if it's because I am Ironeye. I guess next time I will just try to run and not shoot and see what happens
Tell him to play Raider and Retaliate as often as possible.I've been running games with two friends, one of which whom I fully co-op completed Elden Ring with, no mods!
In this game, he just fails to dodge correctly so many times and almost seems to be deliberately wiping us on bosses, when I know it's not intentional.
My theory is that the lack of overlevering and being forced to really be good at different game mechanics, punishes certain players.
There is no overleveling here. Bosses hit friggin hard no matter what. And there is indeed a "Speedrun" element to this game that cannot be overlooked.
It's awesome you (and my friend) are incredibly self aware though.
Yeah that's wild, we did a triple raider run like that. I didn't tell him about HP increase stuff though.Tell him to play Raider and Retaliate as often as possible.
No dodging, no need to overlevel. Just use the red relic from one of the bosses that increases maximum HP and 2 relics with Vigor +3.
I do that when I can't be bothered to "be good" and pick +10/+15% HP from dormant powers.
I once got to the final boss with 2500hp.
I previously said he's the hardest boss in the game but since then I've managed to solo him twice (with Ironeye and Wylder). Curious to see what new tricks he busts out
