I watched that full Jubilee slop installment, much to my embarrassment. Kirk showed himself to be reasonable and well mannered despite it.The commentary in the tweet is bad, but so is his claim that "lower crime in the 1940s" is somehow reflecting that was a better era for black people.
I already posted a source for that second point, which goes into great detail on the topic. How many of them do you need? Half a dozen?
The segment that you've pulled a very convenient clip from is a conversation about the black American community's socioeconomic reality throughout the 20th century up until now - accounting for billions/trillions of dollars spent in all sorts of initiatives and social welfare plans meant to ameliorate the problem post Civil Rights Act, that's only made worse.
The spike in criminality primarily affects other blacks. People should care about anyone being victimized by crime, but it's also a fact that the self-sabotage of the demographic is a hinderance for everyone in it. Until there's enough maturity to really examine the reasons why it (and he does come up with an even handed diagnosis in the full vid, specifically, ones that do not have some kind of "race realist" bent, if you're wondering), it'll never get solved. You can't balk at statistical realities and expect to be taken seriously.
And again, if you honestly think that Charlie Kirk is extreme when it comes to issues like this, you're going to be blindsided by the personalities waiting in the wings on the fringes of the right.
