Battlefield 6 Beta |OT| Open Beta/Closed Weapons.

How does this save money?
He's on about dev costs. People will always find something to moan about.

Looks pretty good to me. Launch content is fine and drip feeding maps through out the year works.

They need some content in the bank with GAAS so they are on the front foot and free work on stuff for later seasons.

Anyone else feel when driving any vehicle you should be locked to the first person perspective?
Nope. Vehicles are already easy as hell to kill. Driver should be able to do first or third, but gunners should be first person only.

If any vehicle should be locked to first person it should be jets.

Im hoping one of the new maps is comparable to Mirak Valley/Firestorm in size. I know Blackwell has jets and runways but the leaked layout seemed kind of small, though it could have been from a WIP version so ill take it with a grain of salt.

I showered ,Felt dirty finishing off the 2042 battlepass:messenger_pensive:
Sad Sponge Bob GIF by SpongeBob SquarePants

I reinstalled 2042 for the BF6 unlocks as well but I couldn't be bothered to play for too long. Comparing how much fun I had playing the BF6 beta to going back to 2042 just emphasizes how much they fucked up with that game.

Worst part is I was one of the dumbasses who bought the ultimate edition on launch anyways despite the poor reception leading up to release.

2042 is indeed a soulless stain on humanity. I'm sure BF6 will be better (not hard to do that!!!).

The big winner in BF6 for me is the map editor, hope they lean on it more.

He's not wrong.
One map and one new weapon every three months is not great support. When premium passes were a thing they delivered because they were obliged to. Then all u cheapos wanted premium pass content for free. And this is what we ended up with. It pains me to say it but COD is the only game with meaningful content updates with every season.

What are you talking about? The roadmap shows 1 new map and 2 new guns every 3 weeks.

When premium passes were a thing
? Um...you are also fucking talking about something from several generations ago...

That wasn't based on being "premium pass" sir, that was based on a different generation of development. That is no different then us not getting 3 Uncharted and 1 The Last Of Us a generation...... that is based on different development times, that wasn't something that just effected single player games, it takes longer to put out AAA games in general, not simply just single player games, this means even the DLC, Maps etc, they take longer to create then 10 or 15 years ago.

Why you would fucking reference that is beyond me, that is a timeline for content that cannot fit 2025 sir...

I don't know why you thought paying more would magically erase all development issues regarding time lol GTA is one of the most successful games of all time, that didn't magically make RDR2 or GTAVI have speedy developments, but you think paying for those maps would what? Have them get made at the same pace as several generations ago?

Call Of Duty can do that btw cause the level of quality of those maps isn't even near that of the BF series.

I'd rather have them focus on quality content, then rushed out slop. I'm fine with the path they are currently on.
