Call of Duty®: Black Ops 7 Multiplayer and Zombies Beta |OT| No Skin In This Game.

They sure are missing some, ran into a guy unkillable who didn't even try to hide it and he dropped a nuke

hit the ground running during the Black Ops 7 Early Access Beta.
Cheaters were expected. But our upgraded systems caught them faster than ever, powered by strengthened TPM 2.0 checks and automated systems helping to eliminate a large number of attempts to cheat.
Those who did manage to slip through didn't last long. Most never made it into a match.
You may have seen clips of cheaters in the Black Ops 7 Beta. We had already actioned on most of those accounts before they hit social media. We're watching closely, acting in real time, and learning from every attempt.
And this is just the beginning. When launch arrives, every layer of protection will be in full force, and RICOCHET Anti-Cheat's defenses will only grow stronger.

Early Access Beta by the Numbers

In the first two days of Early Access Beta, RICOCHET Anti-Cheat has been working to protect the integrity of every match:
  • 97% of cheaters were stopped within 30 minutes of their first sign-in.
  • Fewer than 1% of cheating attempts reached a match, and those who did were removed within minutes.
These numbers reflect
#TeamRICOCHET
's speed and precision in keeping Call of Duty fair for our players.

Your Role in the Fight

While RICOCHET Anti-Cheat's automated detections stop most cheaters before you see them, your reports still play a vital role. They help fuel our detection models, refine enforcement and improve coverage.

Cheat Vendors Are Feeling the Heat

Major cheat providers are now labeling their tools "unusable" or "detected." Resellers are acknowledging they have no reliable products to offer for Black Ops 7. We're not only disabling their cheats, but also their illegal businesses as well. We have now directly contributed to the closure of over 40 cheat developers and resellers since Black Ops 6 launched. Vendors sharing clips during Beta were already on our radar and we will pursue them beyond in-game enforcement.

Acknowledging the Trade-offs

We understand that new security measures like TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot checks can sometimes feel disruptive. But these steps help ensure a secure, fair experience for every player, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation as we strengthen PC protections.
If you need help getting your PC ready for Black Ops 7 Beta and launch, follow our step-by-step guide:

Looking Ahead

The fight against cheating is an industry-wide challenge – and we're committed to leading the charge. We continue to bring new systems online during Beta, fine-tuning our protections, responding faster and gaining deeper insights.
We're dedicated to transparency, community feedback, and constant evolution in our fight for fair play.

2019 had alot of issues.

Some of the maps were straight up some of the worst in the series. Piccadilly remake anyone? Thought not.
When people say MW2019, I'm convinced they mean Warzone. The multiplayer was dogshit, unless pretty graphics and gun sounds are enough to impress you.

Piccadilly
Ufretes Bridge
Azair Cave

Just absolute trash maps, not a single good one apart from Shoothouse.

I've said this before, all of these different flavors of CoD appeal to different people, so it's really mostly personal preference.

Sure, sometimes the majority of players aren't happy like the case was with Vanguard, but most titles have their audience.

I've played all of them since 2019 and I can say that I've enjoyed all of them for what they are, but I particularly liked MW3, 2019, and BO6.

From what I can see thus far BO7 is going to be quite a bit of fun…

What you talking about . Modern warfare 2019 was great. Better than this crap. Cold war was serviceable.
Question Mark What GIF by MOODMAN

You mean this MW2019?:

Yeah totally not "ADHD" as you put it. 🙄

MW III has been the best state the game has been in, in recent memory imo.

If this can build on Blops 6 in the same way should be a good year.
MWIII is the only game I've bought this decade. MWZ was fun and the multi was alright, but even as a new player the matchmaking ground me down by Christmas.

Didnt thought I would like it , but to be honest I do like it
Zombies is zombies no matter how much they do I feel like I'll always be a sucker for it and will always enjoy it

Do you think cod has just lost its charm. Or maybe just 20 years of the same shit in different paint kinda wears thin.

I managed 2 games. Makes me laugh Xbox paid 70 billion for this.
It's just the same thing over and over again. Nothing against it but the only thing that would get me back in is if I had friends who played it. I don't.

The zombies is an improvement. The bear is annoying but it's great not facing 3 abominations and 500 manglers once you get to level 30.

I mean if they can't meaningfully reduce or block hackers im just not gonna play it anymore. It isn't fun in any game. I'm seeing a lot of group hacker bullshit in fortnite right now too I dunno if people are doing it to make content or what but some of this blatant shit is crazy

Most fun I've had on a cod in a good few years. I used to be very good and sweaty at cod (talking cod 4 > blops 2) so the last few cods have been miserable for me with SBMM. I just want to switch my brain off and enjoy the game. Was literally not possible for me previously because I'd be in sweatfests after a couple maps.

TTK is still too short though. Maps seem better than the last few cods.

Got to play with a ray gun in zombies, a rare moment. I like the design on the new mystery boxes.

Multiplayer has been great, too, but Im getting slaughtered 🤣 SMGs seem to be good, tried the assault rifles but things felt better with the short ttk and an smg.

Tried the beta, feels more or less like BO6 albeit the maps feeling a bit bigger? The game actually feels fine, and I like the more modern/futuristic theme, esp for the guns. I think I'm just tired from the franticness of COD for now.

Im in this camp.

Surprisingly good fun. The open playlists are so much better.

Purchase depends on if they plan to implement them in the full game or not.
I'm a Treyarch fanboy and this game is much closer to BO2, 3, 4 in terms of design. So I'm very happy with it at the moment.

It's a definite purchase if they implement this new matchmaking across the entire game and have persistent lobbies. Have no interest in whatever Infinity Ward are working on so this would be a 2 year investment.

I'm still fully prepared for Activision to come out and say "actually tHe dATa 🤓 ☝️ says that players prefer the EOMM playlists". But is reason to be hopeful.

Unbelievable they stuck with that shitty system for so long and how much more fun the game is without it. I have done great in some games, so so in a few and terrible in others, but always had fun. Just knowing that I'm not going to be penalised for x games in a row for doing well goes along way.

Played a bit of open beta this morning before uninstalling. Man, it's definitely a tougher sell without Gamepass. The juiced up PS4 graphics and jank server performance isn't as cute when you're asking more for this upfront than BF6.

Got to level 30 and well....it was miserable experience. Despite all the problems that BLOPS6 had this is a major step down. Maybe it was because it was just a beta and I was playing with the sweats this was probably the least amount of fun I had with COD in a while. I don't remember BLOPS6 beta being this unfun

"...and how we keep players together." That would explain how many times three players are grouped together and not so magically shoot me in the back. I'll see you people in BF6.

TBH it's probably not going to be much better in BF6 their beta was also infested with hackers... i am still trying to hold out hope that it's gonne be better at full release though

Don't think I encountered any on either beta. Thing is there is a significant barrier to entry with a fully priced game. You have to pay $70 and buy a new motherboard every time you get banned now.

I usually judge COD games by how many times I was shot in the back, and I got shot in the back a lot in this beta. It's Battlefield 6 year anyway.
Spawns need a lot of work but that's nothing new. They've been broken on launch since the golden era.

Think I'm done for now, find it hard to play these games when I'm not levelling up or working towards something. Ball is in your court Activision.

"A Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Free Trial has been announced, available Oct 9 through Oct 16. The Trial, for the first time ever, includes full access to play the Black Ops 6 Campaign, too, alongside MP and Zombies."

That Jason model....

And that lame ass predator. Not to mention Big head chucky with normal human body. And these don't carry over to BO7 from my understanding (atleast for normal MP, I believe they do for WZ).

My wife is absolutely terrified of chucky regardless of proportions/sizing lmao she would HATE to see this in game

Took a day for this to become a reality, fair play.

Treyarch do actually care about making a fun game, and I think they've had a lot of things forced on them by Infinity Ward since 2019. Kind of a perfect storm this year as Activision have panicked and allowed Treyarch to call the shots. They're going bold with it.

- EOMM gone
- Persistent lobbies
- Rotational aim assist nerf (will increase the skill gap and make K&M viable on pc again)
- Working on the spawns

If I could've asked a genie to make changes after trying the closed beta, I don't think I could've done any better. Heard they're also bringing back other BO2 maps as seasonal content. There is also a DMZ/MWZ type of game mode for beating the campaign set in Avalon that I'm curious to hear more about.
