Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Releases November 14 - Pre Orders Available

Neogaf ever since Microsoft took ownership.

I'm sure it will still be the number 1 selling and number 1 grossing game of the year 😂
Don't believe it's been a popular IP on this forum, predating the sale, for a long time tbh.

Although it's certainly found new popularity amongst a certain crowd here.

Im not one just to bash cod seriously. I even had a good era of MP on BO6 but this looked bad.

Having said that I think a lot of hate comes from us because we know we're a bit shit online.

What the hell was that? Is that even COD or just...well..I don't know what it is....
The hilarious thing is that the actual multiplayer will look far worse than this. As soon as Season 1 drops and the old skins and weapons are added, you're going to see Beavis wall running and shooting Seth Rogan with his pizza camo'ed AK.

Agreed!

But you get what I meant though, right? When I saw the trailer I immediately thought, "What the actual hell is this?" It seemed like some goofy sci-fi thing that I just didn't connect with at all.

We're going to see the real power of COD with this release. Im betting they drop 1//2 the preorders and day one sales for Gamepass users who will play for a month and drop it. COD and especially this version with futurist stuff is not going to be a hit.

Folk acting like they've never seen this in a COD before? Looks exactly like Black Ops 3, Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare.

These settings cycle. COD has done it all from WW2 to futuristic.

I would probably enjoy it were it not for the fact it's gonna be riddled with the same SBMM and awful skins that ruined Black Ops 6 for me.

They're dipping back into the mighty Blops 2, though, that's pretty serious shit in terms of COD.

In because of Metallica!
Seriously though I love the scifi aspect of it, fuck realism, but I need to finish BO6 campaign first.

A lion does not concern itself with the opinions of manlets. That guy's entire shtick is to ragebait.
You need to be more than a ragebaiter to last 20 years on Youtube, to my knowledge he was the first person on the platform to make a gameplay commentary. His opinion on every game going back to Call of Duty 4 has been about right in my book.

People have been shitting on CoD since well before MS bought them. For as long as I can remember, actually - all the way back to the PS3 days. It's business as usual and it's not occurring just here - happens every time there's a new CoD release. Attempting to frame it as MS-related is a bit of a reach, imo.

Black Ops was the last hope since IW start sucking (though MW2019 was good), but now Black Ops is clearly in name only. I will never pre order a COD.

I swear it's like some of you are forced to play CoD the way you hate it. Just ignore it and move on.
I'll definitely try it again because of Game Pass.

COD, despite its many flaws and its now almost total lean into monetisation which has ruined the look and feel of the game, is still the best '20 minutes to spare? I'm your man' game.

I will undoubtedly play it, because I always do, but this one looks like a big thank you to Game Pass!
Before they started appearing on Gamepass these games didn't exist for me. I played a bit on the first one on 360 but that's it. Gamepass woke me up this IP, loved MW3 and BO6 has been cool too, really surprised at the puzzles, had no idea stuff like that was in COD. BO7 will be played as soon as possible, I'm at my final cheap Gamepass year so no stalling on the upcoming games. Still not sure what to do when I have to pay standard price so might be my last COD.

COD is a perfect game for Gamepass. A yearly release, and almost everyone moves on for the new MP. No need to keep the old games unless you want to replay the campaigns now and again.

What? The guy's entire channel is built on complaining about cod.

I recently wanted to purchase all old call of duty games & map packs for solo campaign + bot mod on steam and then saw even very old titles are still sold 20+€ & 50 € with DLC on SALES lmao.
It was totalling around 300 or 400 € for 10 year old+ games. Wtf are they smoking.

I know the channel. His shtick started with MWII 2009. He complained about that and went back to playing COD 4.
Exactly. I know I'm being pedantic but just calling him a 'Cod hater' is silly when for the majority of his channel's existence he actually liked the games. He turned negative around MW2019 iirc. There are channels that exist purely for the drama, but if Call of Duty actually made a good game he would praise it.

I'd sooner listen to him than a dickrider like XclusiveAce who has only just started being critical because that's the majority opinion and he feels like it's safe to do so. These guys who are too scared to voice their actual opinions out of fear of the Activision blacklist are the worst grifters going.

You missed my interpretation.

The dudes entire youtube channel is based on hating cod. He basically just complains about every one. Hardly neutral imo.

Treyarch isn't a games studio, it's a state of mind. They bring so much personality to COD, you either vibe with their ideas, or don't. Hell of a lot of people do.

I don't think people appreciate just how insane it is to double tap cod titles from the same studio back to back, it should be impossible, their AI automation tech must be absolutely wild.

Edit: sound like they started both projects at the same time.

"They were started at the same time," Leslie sad. "So obviously they have different production ramp-up times, but they were started in parallel and greenlit at the same time. That was a really unique challenge, but also fun to be able to know that you're going to do that. Black Ops 6 is going to be 1991 rogue team, and now how do you flip the script on Black Ops 7 in 2035?"

Same dude, lol, I'm pretty happy for the guy, it's a big role for him, he was great in Heroes.
He played Rocky's son too, which was ironic as that's all I thought about when he talked in Heroes with his upper lip thing 😂
But yeah I liked him as an actor.
He was in the beginning of the TV show Countdown too.
