Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Releases November 14 - Pre Orders Available

I have to try out the beta. It might not be so bad.
The beta will be bearable just like the previous betas then when the game actually comes out it will have this fucking terrible spastic gameplay and a bunch of ugly ass Fortnite wannabe skins like the last few years.

Campaign might be worth a playthrough but even the campaigns haven't been good since Infinite Warfare.

I will try it via Gamepass but for the first time in years I likely wont be buying the vault edition

Most of my free shooter time will be spent in BF (I think) and for sure still Hell Let Loose
I think BF is the better game this year, but most of my pals will still play this regardless. GAF's opinion is not grounded in reality.

I'll buy both and enjoy them regardless.

The game looks like they threw everything they could think of at the wall to see what sticks

I don't even know WTF I'm watching here, it's such a clusterfuck of different ideas, looks like a game made by a committee

Looks terrible and like they completely ran out of ideas. Won't get unless my mates decide to get it for Zombies or whatever. Luckily there's BF6 to pick up the slack.

BO6 was fun for like a month but got repetitive and the maps were shit tier (the later free maps ran laps around most of the release ones). These days I prefer games that take a little more gun and movement skill than the shoot first die first skill depth of a tortilla sauced in heavy SBMM. If the maps are as good and varied as the ones in BO3 then I'd give it a shot.

To be fair I dropped BLOPS6 after season 3 the maps are wank, but it plays well enough. Like I was saying there really isnt a viable alternative if you want an arena shooter that all you casual mates play.

Offer me a viable alternative, I'm all ears.

Edit: If you played if for the las ten years then surely you had fun during the COVID/WARZONE years and then again in the MWIII year the best COD in a long time?
MW3 is crap too. The last good one was BOCW.

For a long time there simply hasn't been a good online shooting game, it's sad. COD has gotten to the offensively bad stage. We need to demand better from these companies. It's the same logic as Madden. People buy it because it's the only football game, but it's been horrible for a decade. Everyone knows it, everyone shrugs and buys it then complains it's a piece of shit.

MWIII was the best COD has been since the OG's. Unless you derive your opinion from reviews and others opinions.

But each to there own and all that. I don't recall seeing you in the OT's over the last few years

Take your low-iq bait with you and get lost, clown

Again, you deserve to get roasted. Own it don't back off half way when you feel the heat. No personality to even stand up to what you said.

" I love it I just preordered the game "

10 mins Later

" I was kidding "

Utter clown with no personality and a bad taste. Can't get any sadder than this.

Yea. Nothing interested me in the reveal. I dont know much about the overall story so maybe for some, what was show was a big deal...not it did nothing for me.

Most of my friends who bought BO6 arent getting this. the ones that are have game pass so they will play it for the week and said they will be done.

BLACK OPS 7 CO-OP CAMPAIGN: CONTENT SUMMARY

An Unprecedented Campaign in Black Ops 7 dives deeper into the madness, playable solo or with up to four players.
Returning Fan Favorite Characters, including David Mason and Raul Menendez, along with the introduction of new icons like Emma Kagan adds to the Campaign's narrative intrigue.
A Wide Spectrum of Environments: Take on high-stakes missions set in locations as varied as the neon-lit rooftops of Japan to the Mediterranean coast, and even into the deepest corners of the human psyche. Players will also experience Avalon, an expansive city whose secrets ripple across the Campaign.
Endgame Unleashed: In the culmination of the story, Treyarch and Raven are unleashing Endgame as part of the Co-Op Campaign, where Avalon opens up for players as they wield personalized abilities and face unexpected challenges, putting everything they've mastered throughout the story to the test.

In Black Ops 7, you can go solo or squad up with up to three other players in this innovative Co-Op Campaign that redefines the Black Ops experience. This is a story that developers at Treyarch and Raven Software have been building together, designed to deepen the Black Ops universe.

As you push deeper into the story, you'll master new abilities to deploy in the Campaign's epic Endgame, where you'll reach new levels of power to survive overwhelming odds in a brand-new replayable experience at the culmination of the Campaign.

Multiplayer in Black Ops 7 explodes out of the gate with 16 electrifying 6v6 maps and two 20v20 maps at launch, all beginning with a unified vision based on the 2035 setting, reimagining the world of Black Ops 2 10 years on.

In Treyarch's legendary Round-Based Zombies mode, the nightmare begins where reality ends. Following the shocking revelations at the conclusion of Black Ops 6, the crew now appears to be trapped in the Dark Aether. This imprisonment in a Bermuda Triangle-like hellscape — where the fog never lifts, the shadows breathe, and the dead don't rest — has given Treyarch's Zombies developers freedom to explore across time and space.

To reiterate: Your Campaign experience is connected to the global progression system across the entire game, including a Weapon Camo journey unique to the mode. Every Elimination, every objective, every breakthrough in the Co-Op Campaign fuels your growth, contributing directly to Global XP, Weapon Progression, Challenge systems, and Battle Pass. These are the progression challenge systems you're familiar with from Multiplayer, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone.

It's a hard MAYBE for me here. I don't feel like taking up a ridiculous amount of space on my hard drive to most likely play this game off and on for a month before it just sits there again taking up space. It's Battlefield this year

Hands up who actually plays COD?

Whose buying this?

I played it on and off for years, started playing it again when MW3 hit gamepass then blops 6. I liked black ops 6 multiplayer (single player was boring) until it became infested with cheaters (blatent ones lately, and nothing seems to be done with it). They didn't have that many cheaters in MW3. I mean I got some interest in the MP of blops 7 (I'm not even going to bother to install the single player campaign), but only because it's on gamepass. Whereas I might just buy the upcoming battlefield (looks to be in better shape).

Good to know! Recoil was atrocious even with the bipod on the LMG lol
Yeah I forgot the cost but there is one that's like 20-30 points and it's basically removed all recoil on my MG's. Only problem is you have to move a bit slower guns up or you get out drawn.

I've come to play BF as an objective only game only instead of kill chasing. Just play and win or lose keep progressing my guns. Than one magical day I'll be all grown up and fuck them kids up!

Disclaimers:
Haven't played a COD SP release in probably 5 years.
Noped out of COD MP with the first warzone release
Clearly I am NOT their target audience.

When did they get Scarecrow FearToxin and Titanfall esq. map movement in COD? I know I am out of the loop but GD that trailer was all OVER the place.

I'm too old for this shit, i'll stick with Hell Let Loose. You youngsters have fun with this...game.

This looks like one of those off the wall ubisoft DLCs you get with the later farcry games, where in comparison to the grounded main game they say fuck it, lets go wild! But, this is the actually main game! This is so far from what COD use to be, I was laughing all the way through the trailer. It's a complete parody. Who had a 500ft boss battle on their bingo card for this one?? Haha.

I thought I was having a fucking stroke watching this trailer. As someone who hasn't played a newer CoD in years, I thought maybe I was just missing something but I had always thought all of the CoD games were semi-grounded. Glad to know I'm not going crazy and this is really just off the walls batshit insane.

Black ops 6 has been a bit of a disappointment in multiplayer but Zombies and campaign delivered this year in spades.

I was a big fan of black ops 2 and 3 so this looks good to me. I didn't love three's co op campaign gameplay so I hope this one delivers better than that one did. Although three did have an incredible story that was pretty wild once you figured out what was going on.

People like to dump on COD but honestly they deliver so much content in a year no one else even comes close. The crazy part is it's generally all free outside of the cost of the game.
