Anyone knows whens the 4 teams mode will reset?
Previously I mentioned it might reset every patch, but when I checked today while doing my dailies, there was no timer on the event page for this new end-game mode, and if you go inside it there is a "timer" that's been stuck at more than 42 days left since the beginning of the patch. That leads me to believe it probably won't reset anytime soon, so maybe once every several patches? Not sure, tbh.

Welp, thought two HoYo games was taking it easy on me today, got S rank in my first 10 pull since my double Lucia 10-pull, ended up being a Rina dupe. Kept going for another 60 pulls until I ran out of polys and nada. Got Vivan's skin at least, I guess.

Then I played Octo lady in the demo and realized she has my hated "HP loss" mechanic. I'm probably just gonna hold on to my guarantee for the robo monk or that stunner girl. HP loss mechanics are gacha dev brainrot and I fucking hate it in every game. Wish they'd get some new ideas.

I went all the way to soft pity twice (lost to Soldier 11) and lost all of my polychrome. Hopefully I can save enough for Zhao and Shunguang next.

Is her engine a must pull? Not that I have enough poly for that, anyway.

Not really, do you have Yixuan's weapon? That would be more than enough, or Manato's weapon.
 
If you're ever tempted to spend money just remember you can buy a whole ass new game instead of a single digital character in 1 game.

Even if you can't do end game stuff 100% you're not losing out that much. Just save your resources for the next character you like and use your pity on them.

Yes, I think the same, I considered spending money once or twice, but then I saw the extreme prices again and decided to stick with the Battle Pass after all.
 
Eh, I've paid full price for several games that I dropped after 5-10 hours and will probably never revisit, so I'd honestly rather spend the same amount to pick up a character in one of these big budget 3D gacha from hoyo or kuro. At least I know I'll be enjoying them for countless more hours. That said, there's nothing wrong with being F2P, or just sticking to the monthly subscription and/or battle pass.

I haven't bought BP this month, no reason too really. I'll stick with the Sub and call it a day until I'll absolutely need BP for some reason.

Btw, it looks like Ye Shunguang is going to be Physical DPS. Rapture or not is anyone's guess at this point, but it won't surprise me cuz we literally don't have a single premium Physical DPS in the game at all - Jane is Anomaly from early 1.X and Alice also Anomaly but not Rapture.

Yeah I have both weapons. I'll just have to remember swapping before doing DA/SD. (Once I forgot to take back Fufu's engine from Koleda and still cleared, LOL)
 
They need to finally add loadouts to the game cuz there's multiple disc sets which can work for different things as well as for different W-Engines, but we need to do all the work manually everytime which is annoying, tedious and takes a lot of time for no good reason.

So I was really enjoying this new SD reset since I got to use Miyabi, but that fun pretty much disappeared entirely at the last encounter on her side since I had to deal with a boss which was clearly shilled for Yidhari and Lucia team comp. It went into the miasma shield phase twice. :messenger_neutral:

As for the movie, isn't it too early for this? Unless of course they'll tell the story before the events of the game which could' be great, cuz we'll be able to see all the past void hunters and such and there's a ton of possibilities for world and lore building. I hope it's not a movie though but rather animated TV series with multiple season similar to Arcane.

Promising name. Can't wait to see it. ZZZ skins have (mostly) been pretty good. I'm still salty about trying to make us pay for Ellen's basic ass school outfit though.

Honestly the story isn't good enough for a season of anime, but it could probably work well enough if they prioritized the action like JJK (which also has a shit story in my opinion).
 
Just noticed they bumped the max cap for Victoria Housekeeping tickets. It used to be 10, so I looked it up, and yeah, they raised it to 20. Any extras get sent to your mail. Good stuff!

I hate to beat a dead horse but...

Instead of this, they should finally give us an option to auto everything related to grinding and farming in the game (skill mats, character lvl up mats, boss mats, discs sets, money etc.) and as long as we have the energy for it. It literally pointless and a giant waste of time to do it in any other way after you done it once and there's like zero chance you'll lose it anyway. To say I'm tired beyond belief doing all this manually for months is to say nothing. And more to the point, they already have background grinding and farming for mats via store management, but the output is so shit here that it changes nothing really, cuz you need to do that for the whole month to get not even enough mats for one character's skills.

There's plenty of end game content which you actually need to play more for rewards than grinding and farming for mats, so it's not like the whole game will be on auto if they'll do it. They just don't respect your free time at all.

I see where you're coming from, but I disagree to a point. Brainless easy grinding isn't really fun, but I think the game needs more interesting combat that isn't endgame timer bullshit, not less of it. I was hoping the 'semi-open world' sections in 2.0 -> was going to be this, but it wasn't at all. There's no reason to fight anything in the hollows after you collected the chests, so it's more about avoiding their detection or straight up running away. It'd be one thing if we could 1-time clear those areas per day and get Dennies/xp/weapon or disc xp/maybe a handful of Polys.

Yeah, they just haven't done anything interesting in the Hollows at all after 2.0 and sure, just like you mentioned, there's chests (and bangboo platforming levels as well btw) but when you're done collecting them, that's it. I said to them in the survey for 2.0 that what they did with the new Hollow design is great, cuz it let's you explore more of the game's world and actually feel like you exploring something big and connected, instead of teleporting to small sections of who knows what to fight a bit, watch cutscenes and that it. They need to fill Hollows with interesting content, cool side quests involving characters just like they did for the Miyabi and S6 event for example, but 3 updates later and nothing has changed there at all unless you count story missions. I just don't get what they're doing and the fact that they're not improving on cool concepts and ideas they have, makes me even more frustrated, not to mention the fact that we don't even know why they did something or not, it's just an empty void of zero communication with the people who's playing the game and the only thing we can do is hopelessly use survey to change something, but the end result is always the same - Zero.

That's not what I have in mind, farming and grinding is not even a huge part of the game, combat is and it's just too much of it in places where it can be easily cut without losing anything at all. But I do agree that they need to improve Hollows first and provide a very decent combat alternative mixed with quests and stories.

See, we can already clear each area and farm pathetic grade zero mats and money by killing enemies, but to do that per day for each area would be a huge time investment nightmare cuz there's a lot of them and there's a lot of ground to cover too - you'll get bored of it after doing it just one time, believe me, plus, you're getting shit grade mats for that.

To make Hollows pure combat heavy to farm mats is also not great solution cuz they already showed that Hollows can be a part for great stories and quests. Instead of pure combat, we should be motivated by great and memorable quests (not auto generated boring fetch quests) per each update involving different factions, some refreshing ones per 2 weeks combat challenges here and there like in WuWa with the giant swords and stuff like that to mix things up and reward us for doing all this. I'll take all this instead of avery stupid and annoying af bangboo events they're doing or these combat one-offs with completely needless story elements 24/7/365.

Idk, maybe I'm the only one here who thinks that what they did with the Hollows was great, but the problem is not that they did it, but rather and again - they just haven't improved on anything they did in 2.0 and in any significant and much needed ways. It took them a whole year to change how we explore the Hollows completely, uh, I guess we have to hopelesly wait another half a year (if not more) for something similar and significant. It's irretating to say the least how fuckin' slow af they are at making much needed and significant changes, focusing instead on things I hate and other people don't like.

Like, they're not the only ones, Kuro is doing the same with their events too, 95% of which are all trash and they're not providing any alternative in the actual game's open world, making people wait for new updates to finally have something to do in the open world. These goddamn companies, man, they need to be more open with the community just like some great devs are on Steam with their EA releases, making game better together, now here's how it's done and cuz of this Echoes of the End devs released much improved version of their game while being very small studio with limited budget and it wasn't even Early Access game.

Have you seen any Q/A streams from both Kuro and miHoYo even ones where they talk with the people from the community, ask people what they like, what they don't like, what can be done to add/improve things, how long can it take etc.? I've seen Zero for both ZZZ and WuWa, that's a HUGE problem and surveys is not solution.

Grace would probably be a complete rework. Yes, Ellen will not happen. Others need the buff significantly more.

This new enemy felt very tanky. And I had the feeling that he hits you where you usually feel safe with other Bosses.
I did with my Ice team (without Soukaku though, decided to just not waste my time and go for Astra instead) and even Astra's ATK buff haven't done much here to save time. I'm sure it's a bit more easy with the squid girl cuz of course it is, she's Rapture, they need to sell her to you and fail miserably at that:messenger_tears_of_joy:

So I've been thinking what can they do to Grace to make her combat feel and look much better and I think it all has to do with her weapon really and that her combat simply does not match her personality and what she loves doing. You just feel nothing while using her electric gun against enemies, it's pathetic and very unsatisfying, unlike Burnice's flamethrowers for example which look fantastic, have great tactile and visual feedback and impact the more you use them for maximum effect and her Ult even looks way better, while Grace just... throws another grenade... and it glows... cooooooool:messenger_unamused:

So, the way I see it, they need to completely rework her combat while matching it to her personality and the fact that she loves messing around with machinery, drones, military stuff etc. Like, imagine if she had 3-4 different Ults (random) with those giant mechs whe had to rescue each of which with its own unique animation, as a weapon she could use flying drones instead to shoot electric charges with similar feedback and impact to Seed's floating laser cannons and as an EX throw multiple grenades with AOE and more powerful one with the full charge⚡

I'm not saying she has to match Yanagi in power with her disorders, but at least match Burnice so that we could use her in Anomaly team with Yanagi and Yuzu, not get bored and feel nothing while playing as her:messenger_relieved: 🫴

So what they basically did is let her group enemies, dodge sort of like Zhu Yuan or Trigger does while holding attack and... Well it's just slight improvements just like they did for mid-late 1.X characters with additional stuff they could do, nothing mind-blowing.

It's just parhetic in comparison to what Grace and Sanby got. They might as well did nothing for her again tbh. I mean, +~5% Crit DMG buff?

Imagine launching a meh looking Qinqyi clone first and make people wait for the best character of the whole update. I hope to god that we don't have to wait a whole month still for Asura. I can get him in like 7-8 pulls cuz I've 100% for him and his sig too. But I can see why having him last could be great for some people - 3 weeks instead of 2.
