[Question] Bloodborne remastered next year?

Bloodborne's 11-year anniversary is next year, so what if it gets something—since Demon's Souls got something for its 11-year anniversary?"

Only joking OP. Report yout thread title lol. I don't see it though. There would need to be a good reason to do it, and if they haven't found one up to now, then I dont think they ever will

Why do From fans even care about a damn remake. Yall are cool with playing ugly ass games with shit performance every time From releases a game. The industry never pushes back, and fans don't seem to give a shit. They have no reason to ever remake this game. And they never will.

You will see Half Life 3 before you see a Bloodborne remake LMAO

Honestly not really a fan just like Bloodborne.

It'll happen eventually, I think it will be at a system launch.
Just because they havent remade/remastered the original doesn't mean they dont know how much fans love it.
I think it will be a ps5 demons souls situation one day.

Technically you can already play Demon Souls on RPCS3 and Bloodborne on shadPS4 with improved resolutions, frame rates, and higher fidelity textures.

Because Demon's Souls' source code and assets are outdated and no longer used by FromSoftware, they had no problem to authorized Sony/Bluepoint to access the assets

But even in their latest release (Nightreign DLC) you can still see assets that clearly trace back to Bloodborne.
They're not going to hand over something they've been building on for years! They're not about to give away their golden goose.

And people keep talking shit about Sony, as if they don't want it! But the truth is, Sony does want Bloodborne whether a remake, remaster or sequel.
It's FromSoftware who told them they're currently focused on their own projects.

That's why we're seeing Duskbloods as a FromSoftware owned title, not a Nintendo. And who knows, maybe we'll finally see Bloodborne again if Sony ever decides to hand over the rights to FromSoftware. And that's not happening!

Forget it. On an interview, Hidetaka said that for a remaster to be meaningful it needs to be released on the next generation, so is a PS6 title, either launch title or down the line.

Ive seen the Spanish version of the preorder pages for the steam machine and steam frame.
If you pre order only one you get Half Life 3 as a pack in title but if you pre order both they include Half Life 3 and the 4K 120hrz remake of Bloodborne.

You might wanna look up who owns the Bloodborne IP. Hint, it's not FromSoftware.

You might wanna take another look at my post.

The golden goose was already given away as FromSoftware doesn't own the Bloodborne IP.
Do you believe FromSoftware are needed for a Bloodborne remake. Or a sequel? They aren't.

I literally said that Sony owns the IP in the last sentence.

What a lot of people don't realize is that Sony wants FromSoftware to work on it, not some other studio. And even if another developer were brought in, they couldn't really make it without the original assets, which belong to FromSoftware. Otherwise, it would just end up like another generic Souls-like.

Since Miyazaki became head of the studio, he's made it clear: FromSoftware will focus on their own IPs from now on. Sony wants them to something with Bloodborne, and Miyazaki is willing, but he has his conditions, and it seems like Sony isn't agreeing to them.

This statement will be correct in a week. It's coming next year as in 2027. PS6 launch title along with GT8. They'll both probably be on PS5 too.

All original Demon's Souls assets belong to Sony, they don't need permission from FromSoftware for anything.

If Sony really wanted FromSoftware to work for them they could, just like Nintendo did by throwing money at them.
It would be even easier for Sony, since they are the biggest shareholder of Kadokawa (FromSoftware's owner) and also own a small part of FromSoftware itself.

What's your source for the highlighted part?

What assets are you referring to here? You mentioned Sony own the IP. The IP includes everything related to the game, including assets. It's exactly the same as Demon Souls. Again I'm not sure why you think FromSoftware are required for any remake of Bloodborne. If it happens, or not, it's entirely Sony's decision.

Nintendo doesn't own Duskbloods, FromSoft does. So they can release it later, or make a sequel on whatever platform they want, depending on the agreement.

I'm guessing you don't know why FromSoftware became part of Kadokawa, do you?

I'll leave that part as a mystery for you :messenger_winking_tongue:

Lol no, they only own the name Bloodborne. All the assets are still FromSoftware's. And you can clearly see some assets being reused in their latest games.

Guys just let it go seriously. Sony can't remake Bloodborne without From. From doesn't care.
