Rule of Rose definitely needed a remake since the gameplay was utter garbage. That said, I don't expect them to understand the actual themes and point of the game after how badly they botched SH2 in that department.
Sure would be nice for Capcom to touch up Haunting Ground the way Koei Tecmo did with Fatal Frame.
YES!
Fuck Dino Crisis, have Haunting Ground back in the spotlight.
A hanged up girl, I think.Which one? I can defeat any enemy.
Maybe because people at Bloober were among those who actually liked original, regardless of reviews and sales, and simply want to spend their time making a modern version of it?Why would someone remake an unknown game that didn't review or sold well , isn't the whole point of a remake is to pick a game that's is popular so it will sell ? I believe this is just a new game by bloober , could be the switch 2 exclusive that they are working on

They probably have enough money at this point anyway.
Sony have been offering their old IPs for other companies to do remasters, remakes or new games for some time. You can even get things like an remaster of Patapon on the Switch and even an new Everybody's Golf Hot Shots. So, they probably just went there and saw the game available. It's n

Who knows, it could be that they were noticed after their recent success, and how they proved themselves with remaking SH2, and were offered to do a remake of another horror.it not their decision to do so , they don't own the game , the game is owned by Sony.
Rule of Rose is not supposed to be an easy game and is difficult by design, not unlike newer FromSoft games. The game has a great story and characters... Don't pay attention to the reviews.
That's right, friend.Rule of Rose is not supposed to be an easy game and is difficult by design, not unlike newer FromSoft games.
People whining about 'gameplay' want a modern breeze-through game everybody can easily finish, e.g. Bloober's SH2 remake.
Punchline, the studio that made RoR, made other games (Chulip, etc.) that are equally difficult/challenging in different ways.
You can unscramble "Rose" and "Rule" in the text clue. But not "OF" perhaps a new entry in the series?I don't see how everyone is jumping to conclude that this is Rule of Rose.
There's a rose, but nothing else suggests RoR at all.
oooh snap.. so apparently this was fake news.
Bloober confirms it is NOT a Rule of Rose remake...
