Just because you didn't liked the game doesn't mean others feel the same way, for me this is easily 9/10 RE game.Don't get people celebrating this as the 2nd coming.
People that love it like the new games. All there is to it. While I feel the 2nd half was very weak. A lot of people enjoy the dudebro shooter bits. RE3 Nemesis is still IMO the best game in the series.I've 100% on ps5 and switch. 7/10 Weskers. Don't get people celebrating this as the 2nd coming.
Shilled RPD so hard and you're in there for like 5 minutes. lol.Crazy thing is, Raccoon City was the strongest selling point which ended up its weakest.
About what my score would be. It might be closer to a 8.8 on that scale. I'd put the game in the B tier with it falling short of the A tier of the greatest in the series.Just because you didn't liked the game doesn't mean others feel the same way, for me this is easily 9/10 RE game.
For me personally I like this game as much as OG RER, RE2R and RE4R.About what my score would be. It might be closer to a 8.8 on that scale. I'd put the game in the B tier with it falling short of the A tier of the greatest in the series.
7/10 doesn't mean I didn't like the game. It's not even a bad score lol.Just because you didn't liked the game doesn't mean others feel the same way, for me this is easily 9/10 RE game.
Lmao, never better than re7. Re7 neither has a pacing problem on this level nor does it change between gameplay mechanics like re9. Also it's more a survival horror game than re9.For me personally I like this game as much as OG RER, RE2R and RE4R.
and its1000 times better than RE7&8 and 10000000 times better than RE5&6.
My man, I like your taste regarding these games. RE3 Nemesis is one of its kind.People that love it like the new games. All there is to it. While I feel the 2nd half was very weak. A lot of people enjoy the dudebro shooter bits. RE3 Nemesis is still IMO the best game in the series.
On replays you are just a sec there lol. Just get one item from the library and bust out.Shilled RPD so hard and you're in there for like 5 minutes lol
Nope, the enemy design in RE7 was so fucking bad, I take zombies over boring ass mole monster any day and I dont like first person gameplay in RE games.Lmao, never better than re7. Re7 neither has a pacing problem on this level nor does it change between gameplay mechanics like re9. Also it's more a survival horror gane than re9.
I agree that's it's better than 7 and 8. I'm glad that some enjoy it as much as the best of the series. It could've been that for me if they did some things differently like making the rpd much more deeper than what it was. Maybe removing the kid mission and adding more to do in Raccoon city, could've added a clock tower section. Was an incredible game for me, I'm very happy with it and it will likely be my goty. For me personally I like this game as much as OG RER, RE2R and RE4R.
and its1000 times better than RE7&8 and 10000000 times better than RE5&6.
Bruh so is RE9s... There's like 10 different variations of zombies, dead ass using the same skeletal model.Nope, the enemy design in RE7 was so fucking bad
Again I take zombies over shitty ass mole enemies in RE7 any day.....fuck that crap.Bruh so is RE9s... There's like 10 different variations of zombies, dead ass using the same skeletal model.
Won't disagree about the enemy variety, but that alone doesn't make the whole game. I look into all the game has to offer.Nope, the enemy design in RE7 was so fucking bad, I take zombies over boring ass mole monster any day and I dont like first person gameplay in RE games.
Also Leon section might be more action but it was still actually fun while Chris section in RE7 "Not a Hero" sucked ass.
Majority of the game especially on the ship all you are fighting are those shiity as mole monster.Won't disagree about the enemy variety, but that alone doesn't make the whole game. I look into all the game has to offer.
I will say it again sucked balls.....fucking hell Chris doesn't even look Chris. But boy, that diss on not a hero?

got it to work on my third try. i have no fucking idea what i did differently...Working through insanity myself. Dunno if I'm going to bother doing the whole thing now (as it's not an achievement, just challenge) but I'll at least get it started. I'm tabbed out watching bodies fall into the pool to start up the final puzzle. Sigh...

Maybe you killed some zombies on the belt, instead just stun and pushing into the grinder?got it to work on my third try. i have no fucking idea what i did differently...
Needed more locations in RC. Instead of circling the same area over and over. Why not have Leon make his way through ruined buildings like a school, mall, etc in a way that TLoU does and give us proper puzzles to solve. And definitely needed more variety with the enemies. The enemies in the care center were great. They all still had their personalities and the care center was nice to look at.Think this game is like a 7/10 btw. Middle portion of the game brings it right down, everything up to Emily getting lit up is a 9, Ark is like a 7 but RC is straight up 5/10 material.
If there was some good enemy variety and better level structure the environment visually wouldn't bother me.
nope. i was really careful about all that. all i could figure is that not quite enough zombies got squished? no fucking idea. the zen of video gaming...Maybe you killed some zombies on the belt, instead just stun and pushing into the grinder?
Trying to accomplish this right now.. let it run for 20 minutes. Didn't kill any in the grinder section, but still got the wrong message when draining the pool.. not sure why that is though.got it to work on my third try. i have no fucking idea what i did differently...
Leon didn't hit her vitalsCapcom are pussies when it comes to story, they didint even let Emily stay dead, lol
I personally I had blast with Leon's RC section, sure I still think Grace section especially in daycare center was much superior experience but Leon section was still super fun for me and didn't really drag experience down like Chris section did in RE7&8.I think Leon would have been a nice palette cleanser to longer Grace sections much like how RE9 started. Leon in Raccoon city just dragged on a bit too much for my liking and it wasn't helped by the drab environments, a vastly inferior call back to RE4's castle section, a predictable enemies jumping on an "elevator" trope, limited enemies/weapons/upgrades, and all capped off by the silly motor cycle sequence. His lab sequence might have been worse with the fight versus spec ops soldiers and then one of the final fights versus a room jam packed full of lickers made me realize something...the power dynamic between Grace and Leon had flipped in the lab. Her tools were just better at dispatching somewhat spongy enemies than all of Leon's leveled up gear. RE9 is a curious game as it feels like Capcom was trying to serve two different RE audiences. I personally feel the opening half with Grace was much more successful at the classic formula than the later half with Leon was with the more action focused titles in the series. I think both styles are hurt by being squeezed into one 12 hour game that swaps back and forth rather than having the entire runtime dedicated to either style. The first half of the game flew by for me and then during Leon's section, I remember a conversation that you and I had about appreciating shorter games. I thought to myself, "the people saying this game is 10-12 hours are wrong, I must be closing in on the 20 hour mark", only to roll credits a few hours later and check my play time to see ~12:30. That's a long way of saying that Leon's sections felt like an eternity to me.
yep. my third try i got 'tons of blood' (rather than 'lots of blood'), & there was the fucking doll! like i said: all tries from the same save, did nothing different each time. hang in there!...Trying to accomplish this right now.. let it run for 20 minutes. Didn't kill any in the grinder section, but still got the wrong message when draining the pool.. not sure why that is though.
Feel the same, but at this point a happy ending to RE feels as obligatory as Leon losing his jacket after the game's intro.Capcom are pussies when it comes to story, they didint even let Emily stay dead, lol
Got it this time. The first time I waited about 20 minutes and then saved my game at that typewriter. Only got the a lot message. There were two zombies Left Alive down there because I didn't want to shoot them at all. Loaded that save up and let it sit for another 10 minutes and this time I shot one in the leg at the very end to push him into the grinder when the message about it being almost complete came up. All zombies ended up shredded and this time when I went down the tube I got the message so I'm good to go now.yep. my third try i got 'tons of blood' (rather than 'lots of blood'), & there was the fucking doll! like i said: all tries from the same save, did nothing different each time. hang in there!...

You could have gotten the machine pistol.3 playthroughs as Grace was tiresome and boooooooooring as hell, but i did.
Dont get me wrong, for 1 playthrough she is fine, but the lack of other weapons make replaying her section repetitive and really really boring, cause you just have one way to play..... glady is over.

even then it changes nothing, enemies in insanity are the most bullet sponges enemies i ever seen in a game ( for reference the screaming lady take TWO requiem bullets to die ), what make the combat even more boring, they take too much stagger and even more to die, insanity is doable, but is boring as hell. You could have gotten the machine pistol.
Man you really have a good experience ahead of you I think. I hope you really like 4.You could have gotten the machine pistol.

Only reason 1 is so low is because Remake is so goddamn superior in nearly everyday that I don't see any need to ever go back to it. Also you'll notice 4 is missing. I never played 4 because at the time I was annoyed it didn't seem like a "real" RE game and it was only on GC.

Damn, that doesn't sound bad at all.In my Insanity Playthrough I used the Injectors to clear the Singing Lady and the guy near the bar, grabbed her stronger pistol, and then equipped her Firepower charm. Zombies go down with 5 or 6 headshots after that. Gets even easier when you start using Stabilizers.
nice! i was wondering about the zombies that were still alive. i'd kneecap them, but they wouldn't all get ground up. the time i got it to work there was only one, so maybe? who knows. anyway, congrats!...Got it this time. RE2OG has more content then RE2R so I can't agree with that and the fixed angles elevate the tension. Not to mention the alternate B scenario routes being much different then the RE2R counterparts. To each their own though.2R>REmake>2>9>5>8>0>3R>3>7>CV>1>6 without much actual thought put into it.

I unfortunately didn't know I would fall in love with the game as much as I did and my first play through was just a eh I don't care about all this stuff because I'm never going to platinum it anyways run so even after 2 playthroughs I'm still down 7 trophies.
- Casual + collectibles + random trophies like the fighting zombies/parry/etc
- Speed Run + No Heal + No Blood then unlock unlimited Ammo + RPG + unlimited ribbons
- Insanity
I started 4 Remake (PS5 Pro Resolution Mode + RT + High Frame Rate Mode) last night and got to Chapter 3. I like it quite a bit so far but the controls and how Leon feels to control are rough coming from RE9 IMO. Leon feels quite "loose" and the aiming is much improved in 9 IMO.Man you really have a good experience ahead of you I think. I hope you really like 4.
Yeah i know but its only the handgun that i've used already for 2 full playthrough , yeah you can make you life easier, it doesn't make less boring, at least for me.In my Insanity Playthrough I used the Injectors to clear the Singing Lady and the guy near the bar, grabbed her stronger pistol, and then equipped her Firepower charm. Yeah, its almost what i did, i could play with infinite ammo ( and i did for a time ) but it felt cheap and i turned off the option. The general sentiment seems to be
