Yes, i have been looking for it since it was 1st announced and it only looked better as time went by. Still not sure if i get it at launch or a bit later when i find a better deal. But is 100% locked.

I will wait and see. It looks just like Black Desert Online. That game looked amazing to me, then I actually played it and it was terrible. I am skeptical this game will be any better since it looks like a large amount of it was ripped right from BDO.

I was laughing at the "dry" accusation.

Otherwise, I genuinely hope you have fun with the game.

It is dry. it's just a bunch of indies that might be okay at best, shit at worst aka irrelevant to me and Pragmata, which is whatever, not something super big. I wouldnt count Soros as big either, it's a 30 euro AA game with overpriced to Sony tax because they love killing small studios due to lack of sales, but I digress.

I want to finish it before Saros comes out. But unsure if I'll be able to.

I haven't been this excited about gaming in a long time. It feels great!

I am worried about bugs I do not want a Cyberpunk situation barring that it is probably going to be a 200 hour game for me, I love stupidly big open world sandbox games

I need to see console footage and performance metrics first. PC is one thing (I could maybe brute force the game with mine), but the devs being cage-y about console performance, despite them shipping copies to DF, is a head-scratcher.

Hell yeah I cant wait. I gotta see this day 1.

This thing has been a mystery, wrapped in a conundrum, shrouded in intrigue since I first saw it 5 years ago or whenever that was.

I would have bet my life at the time this was vaporware, but here we are.

I loved it. I even made a post specifically praising it. It was a very well made game that I played for a 100 hours and I paid nothing for it which is insane. I think WWM had a good level of quality throughout the whole adventure to be honest. I don't know how it will compared to this one though.
I gave the game a shot and gave up on it after a couple of hours. I think I'd have preferred a similar game to it as a standalone game rather than F2P. Because the game had so many different upgrade material I can't keep track which is which, so there were no sense of progression from the quest rewards. Also not a fan of the combat as I guess I'm not into souls like combat.

I typically would label it Action-Adventure. Same with Dark Souls.

That kinda makes it a 50 / 50 then. If there's cool places to explore and abilities to unlock maybe I'm in if it reviews well, but honestly everyone raved about Zelda BotW / TotK being 10/10 games and they're both boring as shit. So who knows.
It seems like there's a lot of cool traversal mechanics (which makes or breaks these kind of games imo) and you can unleash devastating ground and pound blows on to a nun.

Leaning toward it but going to wait for reviews, player impressions and probably 3-6 months of patches.

Doesn't seem like a narrative heavy game and they don't have the track record of someone like From, so I'm thinking waiting for some additional polish and optimizations based on early player feedback will be worth it here.

Unless it's a developer I fully trust not to shit the bed, I'll never buy a game on launch day again. Even devs I used to have full confidence in have become question marks.

I've said it a few times, but I need to see way more about the quality of quests, story, characters, world etc because it feels like it just a very common weirdly very good looking game, but has very little to keep you invested in the world gameplay wise. It looks very empty / soulless to me, but rhat isn't a definitive stance, just the impression I have gotten from trailers and tech breakdown videos.

I dont know about day 1, but im for sure waiting for a thread on GAF to report on the real performance.
I bought Monster Hunter Wilds day 1 , and that was an upsetting experience. Mind you im hype as hell about the game.
medieval ghost of Tsushima.. im there for it.

I think it will be fine. Pearl Abyss isn't CDPR, so it's two different developers, two different games and two different types of games.

I guess I'm kind of confused by the comparisons between these two developers. Especially since CDPR has released more games than PA.

The piss poor bitrate YouTube is pushing doesn't do this game justice.
Yeesh you weren't kidding. That makes the game look awful- that being said, the lighting still looks good in this video which gives hope that this game is indeed a looker.

I'm only concerned this game is trying to do too much in an open world setting. Hopefully, the reviews are good.

Unless the game is reviewing like shit (I doubt), yes day 1.

Haven't been excited for an open world RPG like that since a long time.

Unsure

Console performance feels hidden for a reason hopefully it's not a CP2077 situation.

If reviews are good I'll probably pick up on PC since they have shown the game with my 7900xtx
