Thanks. It'll be fun, though.
Does this mean you still want to go that route?

I believe it.
When developer's actually know what they're doing with the PS3's hardware we end up with gorgeous exclusives and marvelous 3rd party games. ]

Back from your ban, huh?

Killzone 2 is still one of the best looking games this gen ...

I'm really glad MS and Sony are trying hard to one-up each other again, despite the economy and the Wii success story.
Things are looking grim for Nintendo die-hards when it comes to third-parties.
I see where you're going with this, but wouldn't it be a lot better for Wii U to fail? Nintendo goes third-party, develops for PS4... everyone wins.
Did I?
It's going to be Modern Warfare Reflex all over again. Calling it now.
If "Wii U version, lol" doesn't become a meme within a year of the launch of the first Unsustainable Twin, I'll let you pick an avatar for me. How's that?
Certainly living upto the Soilder part of your name.
Never change, warrior!

dat pot calling dat kettle black.
More powerful eh... I hope the development fee is feasible this time around.
dat pot calling dat kettle black.
oh PSM, it really helped the PS3 that it was more powerful than the 360 huh.....
The Wii laughed at both systems all the way to the bank
Pretty much.dat pot calling dat kettle black.
It worked out pretty damn well for gamers. I'm not sure why any gamer would be against a really powerful system, especially since Sony has learned their lesson with pricing. The PS4 isn't going to be another $500-600 console.
Pretty much.
But i'm liking the direction this thread has taken.
I'll just say, I've heard the reverse.
Wasn't the reason it was $600 was because of the Blu-Ray drive? If I remember correctly, the PS3 was already "cheap" for a Blu-Ray drive at that time (another forum says a Blu-Ray player costed around $999 back in 2006).
That's why I've learned to not respond to him lest to have a bit of fun before moving on; there is no point.
Was told by a mod to report him next time he goes on a harassing spree against me in multiple topics, and not to insult/troll myself, but eh, too much work for something not that serious.
@AngelSoldier, I just remember you posting similar posts in the thread you eventually got banned in, don't know why you're so defensive about agreeing/disagreeing with your opinion because I never mentioned anything of the sort.
I don't know why I laughted so hard at this. Maybe because it's 2am.PS4 IT IS FOR ME THEN.

BlurZone 2, you mean? I much prefer Killzone 3's look, best looking console shooter this gen. And yeah, I played Crysis 2 on the 360 and its even more blurred than Kz2. IGN are lying.
KZ3 is beautiful as well. But my point was that an OLD PS3 exclusive can still compete with modern games graphics.
It can compete in the blur department, certainly, but so can Gears of War from 2006.
In the end,all third party games are gonna look the same between the 2 consoles.
I really hope Sony doesn't try to reinvent the wheel. In '05 they stated that research for the Cell will cut the R and D for PS4,5,6. If they wanted they could have a 36 core Cell at minimal cost due to research on the Cell in '05. Pipedream, I know. But this could explain PSM's comment. Someone needs to push technology and with this plan, maybe next gen will be Sony's big break. Shit, when I look at it the only "next gen" experiences i've got was from the PS3 exclusives.
Doesn't really mean much if the difference is like it was this gen (and 99% of games look about the same). But if it's like it was last gen then that would be pretty big. Xbox 1 was a monster compared to PS2.
Based on the two pictures you showed, MW3 is the better looking game. But I do agree with your original point in that KZ2 is still one of the best looking games. I love the gun models and the lighting. KZ2 is still one of my favorite shooters from this gen.![]()

Seriously, I get your blur point. But here we have KZ2 Vs. MW3. Looks like KZ2 is still holding it's own to me.
more powerful
Oh goody, the thread is already bearing fruit. GIFs next, please.

yeah, but will it have bing and zune?
sounds good, PSM. now get back to work on my memory card stickers, and the lid ones too.
nah, the type of cell in the ps3 is still alive. There was a thread about it. The research and support for the cell inside the ps3 is still going and what not, they just stopped everything else. idk the nitty gritty details. They can't. Why are we even debating all this?
Oh and there WON'T be a Cell in the PS4... Cell is dead. Expect a carbon copy on the next 360.
