Friends forever dude.

Which team are you rooting for next week?

The good Lord will welcome you to join his congregation and fight the evil murderers!

denver seems to have a good OL. the atlanta OL is horrific. are you lifelonging my niners yankeehater?

Denver definitely has a better OL, but their WRs drop so many passes. Rather then trade for a new guy only for them to drop his passes, they need to upgrade their WRs.

Fuck that noise about my being a Lifelonger, I have rooted for the 9ers since I was 4.5 years old and they drafted my boy Elmo Boyd.

I seem to have missed this in 2009:

The last time these two teams met -- a 23-20 overtime win for the Patriots in October 2010 -- Suggs and Brady were seen jawing throughout the game.

"He was trying to tell me how to bag a Hollywood actress," Suggs said after that game, according to Comcast SportsNet New England. "He said, 'If you want to get a Hollywood actress, take my seminar on Saturday.' ... He was going over the Dow and the economy and politics. He doesn't really talk football that much."

Does that even count as shit-talking?

Has anyone been to a super bowl here? If the Giants make it I really want to attempt to go. I am looking at the flight prices right now and I'm almost convinced I'd be better off just driving out there (12 hrs from NY to Indy). It's almost $700 to fly in, which is stupid. I'd be ok with sitting in the damned last row.

I think my buddy that I go to all games with won't want to go... could be my biggest stumbling block.

I regretted not being able to go to the Super Bowl in '99 when the Falcons went, so if I ever had the chance again with my team playing in the game, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat unless the prices were completely ridiculous.

Almost went to it last year :) but couldn't afford the tickets even though the drive from San Antonio to Dallas isn't that bad.

Flight prices are rediculous, so if u don't mind driving go for it. Next time green bay is in the super bowl I'm going. One of those things that's once in a lifetime (unless your a rich bastard lol)

Do it. If they make it, you never know when they'll be back. And regardless, it'd be a good experience.

I really wish I made the trip last year. I was disappointed I couldn't make it, and I had all intentions of doing it this year considering it's only a 6-hour drive... but yeah...

Yeah I was supposed to go in 2007 but my buddy and I decided against it since we were supposed to get slaughtered. Didn't work out that way and it turned into probably the second greatest upset in SB history. :|

I can't think of a circumstance in which I would ever want the Shady Pats to win. Even if it meant it would eliminate the Steelers from the playoffs I would rather the Pats lose. To be honest if I had to choose between having to watch the Pats win another Superbowl or watch each and every member of NFLGAF dying a horrible death I would have to choose the latter. Sorry guys!

I need the 49ers to win. I really need the Niners to win.

FMT is there room on the bandwagon? OMG I NEED THE NINERS TO WIN.

Fuck you Packers.

Suggs has a long history of talking shit about Brady:

On Brady's Championships-

Suggs:Tom Brady has three, I think, a questionable three...Oh, you know, you’ve got the tuck rule incident and then you’ve got the videotaping of the other team’s practices. It’s just like, OK, what’s going on here? You know? But, hey, it is what it is. They won the games no matter how you did it. But, um, it’s whatever

On Brady getting calls:

Suggs: I guess it all brews from when I nicked his knee a little bit. I was like, 'Wow you almost hit a guy and get flagged?' I never knew one man could have so much power.

Suggs: Man, this guy's got the world -- he's winning Super Bowls and dating supermodels. It don't get much better than that ... rules made for him. He gets to tell the referee when to throw the flag.

Suggs is priceless

Interesting that there is some Tebow love in here. I'm fine with the guy getting another year. The draft is weak in terms of QBs, which means we get to use our picks shoring up other areas. He's earned it in my book. I think with some time and adaptation, as well as some real weapons we could have a unique offense. Not so much out of the norm, but enough to cause problems. I'm glad Elway is on aboard, I assume Fox loves the guy, and Xanders has been known like him. I'd give a link, but I'm on my phone Elway pretty much shit on completion% arguments. Future looks good.

Suggs talks a lot of shit for only beating the Patriots once.

As long as it doesn't get crazy expensive and it's within your budget i would do everything in your power to go. Like was already said, you never know when another opportunity will present itself.

I wanted to go so damn bad last year but i just couldn't afford it. I was living in Germany at the time so i had to drop ~$1500 just to get to Dallas. Then add the game tickets, food, hotels, booze and it was just too much for me at the time.

Got a kick out of that picture.
I don't care that they beat the Packers, the Giants cocky ass taunting is disgusting.

The Giants have become the Patriots you hate so much.

That's just a formality at this point.

No incoming GM is going to keep him off of a 14 loss season.

A lot of talk around the rumor mill that they are actually leaning towards keeping him.

When the Polian family was removed, a lot of people said he wouldn't make it out of that day. That was over a week ago. He "led" (LOLOLOLOLOL) the Colts to a SB two years ago, and got to the playoffs with a very injured team the year after. This year, he lost Manning and a host of others. I'm VERY afraid that as unlikely and as crazy as it sounds, that they actually keep the bastard. I know everyone knows he fucking awful, but you have no idea HOW awful he is unless you're a Colts fan that watches every game.

Huh? It's football, of course there's going to be taunting on both sides.

We don't really hate the Pats that much either.

Suggs is pretty hilarious. He's also one ugly mofo, so I guess I can see why he's a bit miffed when he stands next to Brady.

The worst is over. All of my friends got their jokes in on facebook and through texts.

And most of them are Steelers or Browns fans, so that's the end of that.

Is it just me, or did we all forget to congratulate Aaron Rodgers on his impending Pro Bowl start?

I apologize for the oversight.

I think Bears fans piling on is the most adorable outcome of last night's humiliating defeat. It's nice that they have finally accepted their has-been organization has no prayer of toppling the Packers, so they better start cheering with all their might when someone else does it for them.

Smart move by the Ravens to sign Pollard. I wouldn't doubt that he takes out Gronk on the first drive.

Pats were just a bad team in 09. Ravens fans who think it's going to be the same are in for a big surprise on Sunday.
how are you guys any better than in 09? gronk and hernandez? healthy midget?

Similar to most lions fans...
