Sounds like Kadri and Aulie got sent down with Armstrong and Liles returning.

Armstrong will probably get hurt, again.

Glad to have Liles back if that's the case. Although I think playing with Connolly and Lombardi isn't giving Kadri a fair shake.

Kassian called up for tonight's Rangers game. An unnamed forward is ill and may not make the game. Hope it's just Matt Ellis.

Regarding the whole Gaustad incident last night: apparently Pacioretty initiated by asking where Lucic is. Goose responded by asking about Chara. Not sure why the Habs went to the media with that. These two teams have more problems than this crap.

Kadri was still making a lot of mistakes, passing into questionable areas, some messy plays at the blue line - though he does look a lot better defensively.

Yeah, pretty sure this stuff should just stay on the ice.

Neck injury, could be responsible for the concussion symptoms and is much more treatable. It's actually really good news.

So are we allowed to say they babied him at this point and didn't do what they needed to in order to get the guy back on the ice? For fuck's sake who sits out that long on their first concussion? No one saw this as an issue? No, of course not cuz we were all too busy weeping at his bedside.

He still had symptoms, they didn't know about the neck injury until last week. Now they know what's (hopefully) causing the symptoms and it's something they can treat. The neck injury isn't nearly as vague or mysterious as concussions are right now.

Yeah, I'm still a little skeptical on why they took so long to find the neck injury. And did this happen during the initial concussion, or in the Bruins game this season?

Sounds like doctors looking to get paid.

That's the point though. The Pens didn't do their due diligence in getting him back because they were too worried about giving him time because they were scared about his injury. They should have had him seeing more doctors and had a more clear schedule about getting him back on the ice.

So we just claimed a forward named Cal O'Reilly off of waivers ftom Phoenix. No clue who he is, his stats are not that great. I assume he's either headed to WB/S or meant to fill in the fourth line hole Asham left that keeps getting filled by a rotating stock of awful AHLers.

They said they don't know when it happened. It could be from the Boston game and only resposible for his recent symptoms.

The Crosby neck injury/concussion connection just doesn't sound right. He's been to more doctors than just the Penguins' staff over the past few years and nobody picked it up. I can't imagine it was the neck injury that was causing the symptoms.

Started out hot last season with the Preds, got injured and never picked up the consistency again. He's a playmaker with very little upside. He'll never stick around the NHL again. Sucks cause I wanted to see him pan out.

I don't know why the Pens didn't take Crosby to see the best medical mind in hockey:

He's retired now anyways, and would probably give Crosby a cheap diagnosis.

Well that's exactly what they are saying - the symptoms can be similar. What's crazy is that Crosby has said before that he had neck pain back when this whole thing started, and he thought it was something with his neck rather than a concussion.

Regardless I hope they nailed down what it is. I'd rather someone have a diagnosed neck problem than a problem with their brain.

Gonna be nice seeing Liles and Armstrong back in the lineup. Hope they can shake off the rust early because I think we'll need the energy.

Price was being pretty bitchy about it. I don't see why it has to be discussed off the ice.
