Double carry lane np.

Fighting over dat farm.

It's fine, I don't mind playing against DS! I just think that if DS is fair game -- he pops up in inhouses a lot now -- then at the very least Prophet should be fair game as well.

I have no problems with any heroes. I personally just think AM is a boring character to actually play.

The problem with AM is even a shitty AM can do well and turn a game around given enough time to farm, which the rest of his team can allow if they've got good antipush.

If you lose as a carry, blame the rest of your team. It's never your fault

I had a match earlier today where the other team was completely cleaning the fuck up early on. Then later on we really gained steam and won. Huskar of course blamed his team, despite them playing a good game the whole time.

Tidehunter is so easy to play.

Just went 3/3/32 while having no Blink Dagger at all.

Ravage + Requiem of Souls is nasty stuff.

I think these pictures say enough:

Oh man... so good!

Today i saw the reason again why i never played DOTA 1 for more then 2 rounds in total. The community is a bunch of *********.

Still, it is kind of frustrating playing a 50 min game and still know that you are gonna lose because one team mate is a total egg at the game.

I dont flame, but if you go 0-6 mid in 10 mins and start flaming other, yes I will tell you how much you suck.

Just realized I had a beta invite in my email, after my first game I had flashbacks to bronze league in SC2..... Looks like I got a lot of learning ahead of me. (Only RTS I ever played was SC2 before this)

So they are going the item and costume route for it
hope there is points / coins to unlock by playing

still waiting for armadon/bristleback to be ported then i will really get into dota

pink ballerina devourer. if they go the TF2 route and have people be able to design submit etc. wowaweewaa. Hope they take their time with this it's going to suck not having any time for anythign else.

Wonder if we will get an update tomorrow or tuesday, and then another one on thursday maybe? Would be good, and would make the normal client have at least something..

Honestly I can't see them updating tonight and then Thursday. I'm expecting them to just roll it into one update for Thursday.

Pretty sure they will, right now only TF2 is using the Steam Workshop, and Skyrim will start using it tomorrow. I'm surprised they haven't added in Portal 2 yet, but I guess that doesn't get (re)played enough anymore.

But adding in Dota 2 for that will be amazing. Steam Workshop + Steam Trading and Dota 2 being f2p.. goldmine.

I like Jak because he can farm and push, at the very least, and a spammable aoe stun, even if it's difficult as hell to aim.

If Ice buffed his cast animation and remade his passive he would be fine.

I like his passive a lot personally. The fact it fully works on Tower makes it incredible.

I would like it more if I could actually control it. I have no idea why it's random.

Anyone up for some games? We're 3-4 dudes so it would be great to get someone who doesn't instapick carry and destroys our line-up.

We were in the 1600-1750 range whilst playing HoN so we're not godly, i.e. any skill level is fine as long as you're willing to team play.

I'll be glad to play the lowly support/disabler bitch.

Okay, who should I be trying to get good at in the feature? These are some "difficult" Heroes I got good at that I can think of off the top of my head:

Pudge
Mirana
Shadow Fiend

These are some that are already on my list to try to improve on:

Morphling (the first time I ever played him was a complete disaster, but now I think I might do better)
Invoker

Yeah. But they're better than the Super Monday Night Combat community. Holy shit, I will never step into that game ever again. What a bunch of douches. I played TF2 for a long time, I played WoW for a shit load of time and the community was never ever ever this bad.

So what? People are trying to learn the game, there are tons of NEW people who are getting in. At one point you probably were no different. Plus the game is in beta, and XP hasn't even been enabled. Geez.

Pudge - Fun. But can't carry even if you do well unless you do really well and anti-carry the entire enemy team.
Mirana - Versatile and strong
Shadow Fiend - Snowballs super hard
Morphling - Don't bother
Invoker - Only the biggest APM
Bolded.

Ever since shadow fiend got a decent agi gain buff I'm thinking that ethereal blade is a great item for him :D

Oh, Chen is also on my list of heroes to improve on. I know that one will be a real challenge for me, but I gave him a try against bots and I think with some practice I could hold my own as him.

Are there any good Dota 2 specific guide sites? I'm reading from the playdota ones and because some of the items and abilities are renamed/different icons...it's a bit annoying to read.
