Complete with Iron Nipples

rescue? shes not 90s, but she is an iron man alternate

and theres iron lad, but thats a whole other can of worms

Teen Tony doesn't count.

I need a non-Stark, but a visually different from Iron Man (so not Rhodey when he was posing as Shellhead) character.

Was that gear shouldered futuristic Iron Man from the 80's a different guy?

if its a variant, its either tony, arno,(the guy youre talking about) rhodey or pepper

Crap!

Arno is close, but the one I'm thinking doesn't have the yellow stuff across his chest and has a pointed gold mask.

FFFFUUUUCK! What is it?!

google searching hard and failing. :(

a pointed mask like the one citizen V wears?

something like his retro suit?

So far I've read:

Saga : decent, great characterization and world building, but it didn't hook me the way everyone makes it sound like it would.

Manhattan Projects : Lots of fun, the artist is much improved since he did Red Wing - that was my main concern and I was pleasantly surprised.

Fantastic Four 604 : Great ending to three years of plotting by Hickman. No one does long-form story telling the way he does.

Poor little fella...but he'll get over it, he's just a little kid now.

Fantastic Four was good, Batman and Robin was good too this week.

EDIT: My panel of the week's a tie between TF: Autocracy-

Orion Pax and co. vs. Omega Supremes? DIS GUNNA BE GOOD~

OK I know it's 2 panels but it works better that way-

IMO, FF was GREAT, Batman and Robin was mediocre. It was just really silly. After last month's unintentionally hilarious final page with salivating-action Batman, this issue was nothing but a no-stakes punch up with a villain I don't care about and Batman reduced to grunting and yelling for half the issue. Yawn. I saw the ending coming a mile off too, and the last line made me LOL again.

It's a shame that most other writers aren't really understanding Damian properly, his charactisation is so off all the time. In Morrison's run he's really this insecure little boy who longs for his father's approval and acts out needing attention, as well as his violence stemming from not really understanding how the world works. But Tomasi is writing him as this dead eyed little psycho, and it's removed all that was interesting about the character to start with.

In Batman and Robin #16 there this single panel where Bruce is back and he asks Damien to do something. Damien looks up solemnly and says "I won't fail you, father". THAT is who Damien is, and it's so subtle and understated and every other writer I've seen do the character has totally missed what makes him great. He's this little soldier who just wants to be loved and to be useful. He's not snotty, he really is smarter than you, and he states it matter of factly. And he's not a psycho devoid of empathy, it's more that he simply doesn't understand how empathy works and how to put it into practice.

Bleh. Another one off my pull list.

One of the reasons I said earlier that I thought Damian didn't have much of a future left as Robin... writers keep having the little psycho pull stunts like the one from this week. There's only so much of that you can get away with before the readers get bored with it, or start wondering just how long Bruce can look the other way and hand out second chances. Damian is turning into another Joker conundrum.

I'm glad I dropped B&R after #16. In Batman: The Return (also written by Morrison), Bruce even tells Damien that they will never be partners. I know the whole New 52 relaunch changed stuff and it does make sense that there should be a Batman & Robin book, I really only would want Grant Morrison writing it. That is, unless someone can prove otherwise.

It will be interesting when Batman Inc. comes back and it appears that Damien and Bruce will be forced to work together.

I read Saucer Country issue 1 yesterday. Think this is a bit of a slow burn - there's a lot of plot setup in the first issue, and it's perhaps deliberately a bit confusing as to what exactly is going on -
Was the Governor supposed to have just been "returned" at the beginning in the car with her ex-husband? Wasn't sure why she was out there. And who punched him in the face? Not to mention the hallucinatory (?) mini people with the geek.
. "West Wing with aliens" is the best way of describing it, but it seemed thoughtful enough that it could potentially pull it off.

What about Ai Spidey?

that might actually work.

lol longshot is the best x-man in history

"GYYYET TO STEPPIN!!!"*

*Happy Endings

STEP AT ME BRO!

but yeah, hes a relic of the times that needs to be dealt with.....

...and they keep putting his tri fingered ass in new books. i wonder if pyro was still alive, would they keep adding him to series.

but i am loving that lineup. give havok back his 90s costume, bring jamie and rahne(is rahne still with xfactor after the baby thing?) back to the fold, and you got a stew cooking!

Just got my new Ipad. Finally redeemed my digital codes. Comics look really pretty on this thing. So pretty. Cant wait for that Nova comic. I need it in my veins now
