I don't want to go overboard, but I'm getting really excited about this Spurs team. More minutes for Kawhi can only mean positive things, he is pretty damn good. Now replace RJ with Jax and I can see them going far. Winning a game like tonight's without Manu, would have been a dream last season. They would have found a way to completely collapse. Now they seem to have toughen up like the old times. Let's just hope it continues.

Oh yeah, seems like Jax is playing tomorrow at Dallas. Dirk is having nightmares already. >:-)
 
Well, that was harder than it should have been but man, Our penetration defence sucks so bad. Were gonna get destroyed in the playoffs if the other teams watch tape of this game. Awful awful defence.
 
This is why I'm more scared of San Antonio then OKC.

Playoffs is a toss up for LAL. I don't trust Mike's Rotations or Adjustments in the playoffs...but then again Kobe isn't quitting/choking on his team like quitness James so hopefully we'll do well!

They haven't faced each other right? Gonna be interesting.
 
As you saw tonight, the Spurs lack of a vet on the floor while Tony is resting shows you we NEED Fisher. We didn't blow leads with TJ Ford playing back up. Mind you TJ For was out a month before coming back for 2 games. I've seen this team blow leads more than you can imagine but Popachick puts Parker back in and saves the game.

The bench does nothing but camp in the corner for 3s. I would prefer someone out there creating space and opportunities for open 3s.

If Manu, JAAAAAAAAAXXX, Dunk Can, and Parker all start, do you call then the big 4?

1 extra player than the Heat

I'll take it.

I have this strange feeling he's gonna retire along with the core 3. Never been a fan of SA but boy do I appreciate what Pop and crew have done for the league.

Edit: Im only cheering for the Spurs if they face Miami in the finals

Yea but this season you get the feeling they're gonna make a tremendous run unlike last year with Jefferson's jello ass. Adding capt Jaxxxx only adds more depth and grit which is exactly what they lacked

If I have to ever watch another finals with the Spurs playing it will be like dying from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Sessions looked great tonight. I haven't seen our bench play with so much energy. Made our starters look lazy as hell. He created more offensive opportunities than these guys have seen all year. I swear several times Barnes wouldn't know WTF to do he was so open.
