Well, at least Vamp Jubilee was better than New Warriors Jubilee
Anyone have success using Marvel digital comics unlimited on a non-Ipad tablet? Just wondering which tablet would handle flash/this program the best.

New Warriors Jubilee was dubbed Boobliee by some people for obvious reasons.

HAI GUYS! What's goin ons in dis thread?
I personally liked the fight, if only because I enjoy seeing Bats kicking ass.IMO, FF was GREAT, Batman and Robin was mediocre. It was just really silly. After last month's unintentionally hilarious final page with salivating-action Batman, this issue was nothing but a no-stakes punch up with a villain I don't care about and Batman reduced to grunting and yelling for half the issue. Yawn. I saw the ending coming a mile off too, and the last line made me LOL again.
In Batman and Robin #16 there this single panel where Bruce is back and he asks Damien to do something. Damien looks up solemnly and says "I won't fail you, father". THAT is who Damien is, and it's so subtle and understated and every other writer I've seen do the character has totally missed what makes him great. He's this little soldier who just wants to be loved and to be useful. He's not snotty, he really is smarter than you, and he states it matter of factly. And he's not a psycho devoid of empathy, it's more that he simply doesn't understand how empathy works and how to put it into practice.
Bleh. Another one off my pull list.
at least they remembered she was Chinese. So many artists draw her as being caucasian.
Is there a Daredevil issue this week? I need my DD fix~
What would you say to a Fantomex miniseries written by Jason Aaron?

I do agree about the ending though
Good points. ...and now you make me want to read Morrison's Batman and Robin again~ Thanks mate \m/
I'd love to see Jason Aarons take on the character, I'd also love an action figure already.
He handled the character pretty well in that Wolverine : The List one shot during Dark Reign. What would you say to a Fantomex miniseries written by Jason Aaron?
I really like the way Phil Noto draws her, especially in this pic.

Am I the only one seeing a ventriloquist's dummy?
Damnit, seeing Morrison-era Marvel Boy still makes me upset. To think JoeQ shot down the trilogy because it was "too cosmic". Now we got Bendis-speak Noh-Var with that ugly ass outfit and he doesn't speak like he learned English out of the dictionary.
Florida comic book store owner banned Mark Waid comics because of his stance on digital comics being the future.

I understand the fear of retailers, but...things change, man. Book stores are closing down more and more every year, music stores have all but vanished from the modern world, and damn near every video/movie rental store is a thing of the past. I have ONE Blockbuster in my area, when there used to be 4(along with all the other video rental places like HollywoodVideo, COX Video, etc). How long do you think the brick and mortar comic retailer can last in its current state? How long do you think they can hold back the tide of inevitability?
Jubilee isn't a vampire anymore? How'd that happen? What book?
Why are we talking about a shitty Dazzler knock-off anyhow?
Jubilee > Dazzler. Dazzler hasn't been a good character since Australia.
Does it matter when Jubilee hasn't been a good character, ever? XD

Marvel should create a main X-Men book that features the main cast from the 90s animated series and put a good creative team on it. I bet it would be the most best selling comic ever
She doesnt even remember him.I miss 90s Jubilee. You know the one that used to hang out at the mall, date tim drake, and star in Generation X.

Or only make Wolverine that much more popular then the rest of the cast like he was in the mid 90's.
Beyond that, given the characters as they are, it would be awkward at best to try and recreate alot of that shit.
whoa whoa whoa...wolverines comic made him that much more popular. There were plenty of Iceman , Gambit (suck it haters) , rogue, storm, ARCH-angel , Bishop, Alex Summers *the cool one*, Nightcrawler and Psylocke fans in the 90's. And their popularity carried over into the shows and games staring the xmen.
That entire line of comics was a juggernaught during the 90's, wolverine wasnt on uncanny during the 90's and that sold shit tons too. Xmen became its own sub section of the marvel universe. It went from 2 main books to this assault of books we have now because of its utter dominance in the 90's. Avengers, Thor, Iron Man, Cap, Daredevil, Punisher, Ghost Rider, Powerfist, FF4 , Namor , Blackpanther, Silver Surfer, ETC ETC ETC ETC didnt sell SHEYIT compared to the X books and Spider Books. The X books probably sold more than ...anyone even with batman having them matched in volume of monthlies and mini series. Boy did batman have a shitload of titles coming out per month back then but Xmen and Spiderman ran the show in the 90's especially after the initial splash image made.

thats why its time for a good ol'fashion DC style reboot or it would be pretty hillarious to just throw them together despite the awkwardness. I mean if Geoff can have his super friends fanfiction in Justice league and Bendis is writing an Avengers series using the cast from the movies. I think the rest of us deserve an xmen animated series inspired comic
Again I would say that Wolv and the X Men kinda does this.
Given that it seems to be holding well, what are the chances that Gambit and Jubilee doesn't show up? They were very popular and linked with Wolvy, to the point Jubs is lik a daughter to him.
I would say there is a fairly decent chance we will get the 90's team together before to long, well maybe not Cyke but everyone thought he was a dick even back in the 90's.
to me the main x-men group should be Cyclops, Jubilee, Gambit, jean grey, rogue, wolverine, morph, beast, storm, professor x, and maybe throw in Archangel, bishop, cable, collosus, kitty pryde, and psylocke.

You mean Changling? Or Morph from Exiles?
You mean Changling? Or Morph from Exiles?
Morph from the animated series. I don't think he is actually from the comics. He had a cool arc in the show where he was wolverines best friend who gets killed by the military because Cyclopse fucks up and mr sinister collects his body and experiments on him. Eventually he comes back as a villain and looks like a scary drug addict. It was pretty rad at the time.
Morph (voiced by Ron Rubin in English and Mitsuru Ogata in the Japanese dub) was cast for the X-Men animated series as a "throwaway" character for the writers to kill in the opening story arc to sell the stark nature of the series. Changeling (Morph) was chosen because of his past ties to the X-Men, as well as his long absence from Marvel comics. Being a deceased minor character in Marvel canon, he was a "blank slate" and the writers were free to do with him as they wanted without fear of reprisal from fans of the character. Morph's death was intended to be permanent, but he gained unexpected popularity, and was brought back.
Sydney's codename had to be changed from Changeling to Morph as DC comics had trademarked the Changeling name for the character who later became Beast Boy of Teen Titans fame.
Hmm maybe. I would argue that it was the Wolverine books that tied directly into X Men story lines that made him so popular. Like the bone claws issues and stuff.
Still though, is this really needed? Wolverine and the X Men is actually returning to this kinda thing, well the more light hearted side and we even have a Wedding come up. When was the last time they did this for X Men?
It has a snowballs chance in a who framed roger rabbit version of hell now, but I would love one more crossover that lead to a new amalgam miniseries. I would buy that shit standard and digital.....Also,
