He's been in the industry for awhile. A few of the dudes that are busting out in the south are like that. Future has been around for awhile if you know his history (he's related to dude/s in Dungeon Family), Starlito's been around since early 00s etc.

future being related to rico blew my mind when i first heard it.
although i have to say he does have a much better ear for melody & catchy shit than most new artists that come out of the south. he got jam after jam after jam on his mixtapes though. i listen to him more than anybody else right now. even ross.
but some people just cant get past the voice. it took him a while to grow on me.
starlito's completely new on me. i recognize the name, but i cant think of anything he's been on.

Starlito used to go by a different name and was signed to Cash Money IIRC. Much like Curren$y, he ended up doing a lot better on his own than with them.
