My only gameplay criticism is the frag grenades... the nature of this game it's difficult to get away from a frag. I think they shouldn't explode so quickly. I killed so many people with frag tosses -- it's too easy.

Other than that... game is really fun. Give me more maps!!!


edit: also... the warning that pops up for friendly frags is really dumb. It makes you try and get away (so you expose yourself to the enemy) only to realize it's a friendly frag your buddy threw over your head that won't land anywhere near you. This is a huge annoyance and cost me a couple cheesy deaths in some tense firefights.

I imagine the friendly frags is in case someone does toss them in the friendly fire on mode.

Does it distinguish itself at all from the enemy grenade icon? Is there an enemy nade icon?

Seems like something that happens once or twice, then you adapt and learn from it.

Eh... the frag icons look exactly the same to me. Friend or foe.

The problem is that frags are incredibly easy to pin-point throw thanks to the arc indicator and they explode immediately. So if you see the icon pop up, you have mere milliseconds to make your evasive move. But because any frag in your general vicinity (even those going over you head and landing safely away from you) flashes the icon... that's not really an opportunity for adaptation. You either have to have extraordinary battlefield awareness (unrealistically so) or just take your occasional cheeseball death.

I think to fix this problem, you make frags have a shot delay before exploding (good offensive players will compensate for this) and remove the friendly icon (hey if a teammate throws a dumb frag it's on him, and just a risk you take in FF games) altogether.

It really does. But the prone roll is nearly impossible to pull off consistently... or ever lol. That's a pretty handy tactic too. Wish it was more consistent.

Have you guys done the sprint to slide move? It's pretty sweet looking.
 
As well as kindly recieving a code from Jotamide the other day (thank you :D ), I just stumbled across a 360 code to try as well.

I also picked up a spare 360 code too, first to PM gets.

I just checked my email to see if I had a WoW beta key to go along with the Diablo3 beta key and low and behold there sits a beta key for this. I wasn't even expecting it. Awesome!
 
This game is pretty dang fun. Doesn't really have as much as a learning curve as I thought it would have. Controls are nice, they don't feel clunky at all. I'm so used to Gears though, so I tend to attempt to roll around a lot.
 
Game is okay. Don't like the ADS though, should have just zoomed you in further in 3rd person. Sights should only be for sniper rifles.

Game also froze my Xbox after I lost connection to a game.
 
Okay, played a few games. The blurry image quality is terrible and the netcode is a bit iffy, but the game is fun.

Didnt know the game had sights for all weapons. Can you still hit at medium-close range without ADS?
