Just wanted to comment on the Dani Alves issue: I think it's the right moment to sell him, next year he'll be 30years old and they already have a youth product replacement for the RB position: Montoya.

I Got it yesterday, Haven't had the time to play it yet. I'm a fan of monster hunter which got me interested and I liked the demo, so hopefully the full game doesn't let me down. Like Kyoufu I wasn't thinking of buying it at launch but i've got time off and wanted something to play over the summer.

Think he's gone on the record saying he wants to play in that free role off the top. Said it's his favourite position and actually spoke in a quite...well, boastful way about how him moving there has made him play much better and led to him scoring and assisting more goals.
I've gone from being 110% convinced he was going to City to being quite hopeful we can sign him...but as many United fans have said here...it's just too good to be true, these deals never work out for us, still expecting him to end up at City/Chelsea.
Whatever happens with Hazard we need to get Kagawa. For £15m a player of his age and quality is going to be an incredible deal.
Dortmund want 20m right? I don't think United will go that high tbh. They'll probably try to reach a compromise.
I'm curious as to why we're in for both Kagawa and Hazard as they both play in similar positions. I'd be delighted if we got them but I'm interested in seeing how they'll fit in the same team.
The pessimist in me thinks that we're already bidding for Kagawa because we know Hazard is going elsewhere. Then I'm even more pessimistic about our chances of signing Kagawa.
I'm happy with either but if United get both, they could seriously have a good chance in the CL. Would be interesting to know how Fergie would set the team out or if he'll play Kagawa deeper.

Dortmund want 20m Euros. That's about £16m. We've bid nearly £13m. Not far off.
No idea why we want both but who gives a shit. Haven't signed anybody exciting in years let's just do it. I genuinely think United want both though. We've progressed too far on both transfers to be using Kagawa as a back up for Hazard. I'm not sure it's a wise idea though because it leaves CM very weak and all that money could be better spent in rebalancing the squad.
United won't win CL till they sort out the CM.
Transfers for English clubs can go through between 1st July and 31st August.

After the Belgium game, I hope people (who don't watch non-PL football) are starting to realize Hazard might have the flashier name, better PR and great potential, but we need Kagawa to play as first choice no. 10. Certainly no back-up target IMO.

I'd be willing to have Russia crash and burn at this Euro if it guaranteed we would qualify for world cup 2014. Russia hasn't been to a World Cup since 2002 and hasn't been non-awful at one since before I was born. Its ridiculous how we always seem to qualify for euros but not the world cup.
