from what people have said before on the max payne 3 OT, the PC release will be synced to release at midnight by region. Fingers crossed.

as for anyone with a small SSD (using the SteamMover utility or something similar)

I started the pre-load (which luckily didn't bitch about the 8GB left on my SSD) , shut down Steam after the first gigabyte, ran SteamMover and linked the "max payne 3" folder to my regular HDD, then restarted Steam and continued pre-loading

An engine compression system is great. It can reduce the size of files in an impressive scale. However, it looses quality. Rockstar chose quality over size.

Ok so I set my steam server location to London UK and now it just won't let me connect to the Steam service at all. Help? How can I force it to re-auto detect my location?
