So then it's on G4, not spike (talking tv channels here)After Sony's.
David Ellis says it's tonight on Spike and that program starts at 9 PM CST which is the start of the last hour of the Sony conference.
Need some more confirmation here.
No no... the sony conference ends at 10 PM CST here. The E3 all access show on Spike starts at 9 PM CST here. So, the Spike show starts before Sony's conference ends.Sony conference is only an hour, no? It should start right after the conference ends
There are sections like that in all Halo games. Reminded me of a prettier Sierra 117 from Halo 3.I always thought Halo's strong point was level design, and the level design of that forest level looked hideous. Usually halo is about going from one open arena style environment to the next, while the forest level was just one big unnatural corridor with a couple of roots to use as cover like a call of duty level.
I'm not hitting the panic button or anything just noting that the one level they showed at that conference doesn't look to exciting. Hopefully its just the one level or just what they had to throw together for e3 demo purposes. The other stuff looks great.
1. Cortana was awesome. Didn't seem bothersome at all. The little video feed would be annoying, but thankfully it looks like it only pops up in cinematics.Cortana looks as annoying in this as she was in 3. Wish you could turn off her yammering.
Also not impressed by the new robot enemies, pretty boring. Wish we got new aliens instead.

Either those sections were really small compared to the rest of the game, or they were forgettable and I've forgotten about them.
Basically all of Sierra 117 was like that. Beautiful jungle with gorgeous, lush, organic... hallways. Definitely not the best Halo level, but still fun.Either those sections were really small compared to the rest of the game, or they were forgettable and I've forgotten about them.

Dat dam section. There were some great sections of Sierra that really broke up the combat arena into interesting battles. Especially the last area of Sierra 117.
Holy shit do you doofuses not understand what a gameplay demo is? Moreover, a demo from one of the first levels in the game? It's supposed to ease players into combat with a new enemy. They aren't going to drop you off in some huge hub world with multiple paths.
I swear, all of you bitching about corridor level designs obviously never played "Pillar of Autumn" from Halo 1 or "Sierra 117" from Halo 3. They're really linear, much like the one showcased here in Halo 4, and SHOCK, they're the opening levels in their respective games. Stop being so fucking dense.
EDIT: I see I'm not the only voice of reason in this thread.

Nearly every single level in H2 was forgettable, so who can blame him?Admit it. You forgot the name of Cairo Station.

Nearly! Not Gravemind. Gravemind was a great level.
Anyone have the Spartan Ops thing from Spike yet?
Halo 5 confirmed?
The new enemy looks so much fun to fight. It really looks like a true evolution of the elite encounters.
