This was amazing and thrilling, well done by both teams! After the bad spine I had (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=37855090&postcount=134) about Spain, I think this is the kind of match that gives confidence on the long run, it is a nice way of entering the competition itself against a strong contender.

Except for the misses, I had the impression Torres did well as a striker on reference point in creating spaces on the Italian side. Navas had the capacity to destabilize every defender he faced, as always pretty confident he was!

Am I the only one who noticed how horrible the passing was? Was it the pitch or what? Would love to see the pass completion % for Italy.

But with Kalou (and hopefully Malouda) gone, and both the cups, the league and CL, he will no doubt get some playing time as Chelsea would lacks wingers.
