You make a boat load of money from streaming. Considering they have two streams up 24/7 I would not be surprised if he makes 40-50k off streaming alone, not including his team or his tournament winnings.

I know the league of legends guys on own3d are easily closing in on 200-300k a year. There's a lot of money in competitive gaming.

I haven't watched since he's started FGtv but when it was just him streaming in his little apartment, he always interacted with us. He knew some of us by real name or just went by username.

He interacted with the stream far more than any other streamer for any game has.

To beat someone only to disqualify yourself immediately afterwards can come off as disrespectful to the person you faced before (who may not have DQ'd themselves if they had the given opportunity).

best sunday commentating for me goes to aris+markman. scv top8 was slept on in general, probably because of the time slot and because its scv. i have a lot of sf bias, so it takes a lot for me to admit that scv top8 was probably (almost, maybe) better than top8 ae. although ae pools/quarters/semis was top notch.
