You know how on the freeway you sometimes see cars with new body kits that haven't been painted yet?
This looks like that.
Nanomachines? LO fuckin' L!The suit comes from his bones. It's formed by nanomachines, can regenerate itself, takes seconds to reboot (practically unaffected by EMPs), etc. He can also make specific parts of his suit appear so he can choose to only have Iron Man's arm materialize so that he can blast someone. And since the suit is connected to his nervous system and brain (iirc), he has super-human intelligence and reflexes.
After the shitty shops in this page(sorry but it is true) the actual suit doesn't look so bad anymore.

Is this one going to actually have a boss fight rather than just "hey let's do that thing we did at the party when I was really drunk War Machine." "Okay."
Most likely, Shane Black (director/writer for IM3) has been very vocal about the failings of Iron Man 2.Is this one going to actually have a boss fight rather than just "hey let's do that thing we did at the party when I was really drunk War Machine." "Okay."
Are his feet shooting out Coca-Cola?
Which was, in turn an improvement on the final fight sequence in IM1. Hopefully they can actually have a great final fight by the third time around. Is this one going to actually have a boss fight rather than just "hey let's do that thing we did at the party when I was really drunk War Machine." Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper cross-promotion!
Colors look pretty bad.

Multiple iterations of the War Machine suit, yum.Found a video of the IM3 Press Conference Q&A on Youtube:

(sound is pretty rough)
Pure speculation here but Extremis armour is formed from the hollows of Stark's bones at will.
The suit comes from his bones. So can nano machines form liquids as well? I'm assuming the suits contain hydraulics and WD40 and other fluids. Where do the liquids come from?
It doesn't use Hydrolics, WD40 or motors lol..
Extremis is a formula comprised of nano-machines that allow him to build his suit of armor at will... and control electronics at a certain degree.
EDIT: not to mention the things the Iron Man suit can normally do.
and yes.. the electronics within extremis are kept and stored his bones in the form of nano-machines.. making Tony Stark a cyborg.
EDIT 2: I wish we could've got the extremis armor back in number 2 along with the armor wars storyline.. so that 3 could have both tony's drinking habit and the bleeding edge armor.
To clear things up:
Also, Extremis also rewrote his body too IIRC, building new organs, etc. to allow Tony to link with his suit easier and allowing for him to be capable of doing this stuff. It's much more than just a suit upgrade. Bleeding Edge is the stupidest shit though, I hope that never comes to MCU.
No Nova in Guardians of the Galaxy?![]()
I wish I could go back in time and shoot whoever came up with this idea, if only for how often it's misused in fiction.
So u saying there isn't a single drop of liquid in the suit? No coolant or anything?
Looks like an alternate costume for MvC 3.
We need more HULKBUSTER.
