Edit that shit, Woody. This is not the spoiler thread.

He wanted to switch coats to cover his identity when running away didn't he? He tells the hobo to be careful, and that there will be people looking for him (and presumably that coat). I mean he's running away and it looks like its cold outside, doesnt want to just give him the coat and be cold lol.

How did people not get that part?

TDKR > BB > TDK

So much lovely dialogue meat in TDKR making it rewatchable (like the first half of BB). Also the best action in the trilogy.
TDK is the least interesting but it has amazing peaks with Joker/Harvey Dent.

Maybe i should see it another time to really give a good rating. I definately liked the movie, i dont really see why anyone would pick it over TDK.
Although TDK is my personal favorite, i can see why people think BB is the best movie.

The Interrogation Scene is what made TDK
Bane's vs Batman is what made TDKR.

Not just Bane's physicality, but his dialogue cut deep, and was frightening.

Not really spoilers, but whatever

I agree with this.
Maybe one of the best action scene in the whole trilogy. The dialogue was very memorable and it was a great choice to do the whole thing without any music whatsoever. Gave the scene much more weight, imo.

TDK > TDKR > BB

Pretty much. But all three are very good and I can understand why someone would rank them differently.

But TDK will go down in history as the best. Popularity contest across critics and general audience will make this conjecture the most probable.

History? It's not about what's right. It's about what's FAIR!

TDKR > BB > TDK

All three have their issues but I really responded to the heart and ambition of this one. Hope it holds up to repeat viewings.

He didn't. He was junking all his possessions, and when he got to the money in his wallet, he figured that he would just give it to the hobo instead of burning it, which would be a waste. But the hobo asks him "for what?" and since he's in a hurry he just says "the coat" since it's the first thing he can think of which the hobo has. I like the scene, it shows that while people like Bruce Wayne have so much wealth they don't mind giving it away, some poor folks don't like handouts and view money as something they should earn fairly.

(Maybe I'm reading too much into it!)

The main thing is - it's a nice coat!

Did not like it at all. Wow, what a disappointment. It's better than any movie I've seen this year, but it just feels so "empty" and disjointed.

BB>>>The Dark Knight>The Dark Knight Rises

I'd rate Batman Begins a 9.5 out of 10, The Dark Knight an 8 out of 10 and The Dark Knight Rises a 7-7.5 out of 10 depending on my opinions after a second viewing.

Man I'd be annoyed if I saw the cover of GQ with JGL before seeing the movie. I hate when they do things like this.

You might want to spoiler tag that in case someone has seen it and thought nothing of it.
I would assume it's just a joke seeing as I'm pretty sure both Nolan and Bale have said that they'd never do a movie with Robin in it.

I almost posted that without spoiler tags, thinking I was in the other thread.

Just came back from seeing it.

Boy did Nolan try hard for this one. But basically, the movie has a very similar structure to BB, which makes it just as boring. Which is why Solo liked it and BB. Or is it because Bale has a beard in both movies?

Anyways, I'll get more in detail later on, but this is a mostly boring, very bombastic movie with great performances, some interesting visuals, shitty dialog, stupid jokes, more deus ex machinas and out-of-the-dark appearances than any movie I've seen and mostly predictable character arcs.

So, yeah, in the end, they're all very flawed movies but :

TDK >>>>>> TDKR > BB
