Now that everyone has the 3DS does it really make 3DS games look pixely and blurry like initially thought? Or was the whole thing blown out of proportion and the difference is negligible?
Also, since when is Yoshi's Island available on 3DS?

I played that game earlier today and it looked fuzzy when the screen was moving. Like on a Gamegear, only not nearly as bad obviously. I was wondering if that was because of the XL screen, the image stretching, the emulation, or what. I don't remember if it was like that on 3DS.
Uhhh...yes it was.Ambassador as in people who bought 3DS at launch? I did that but it wasn't part of the 20 games. Unless each region was different (im in U.S.)

It's called Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island. If you're a NA Ambassador, you have this game.
Do you guys prefer red or blue? I went with blue personally.
Does anybody know if a bottom screen protector from a regular DSi XL would work on the 3DS XL?
Does the transfer take everything from the old 3DS to the XL including the 3D pictures? If it does I think I just might take gamestop up on their offer.
Everything is transferred.
Not really. No games other than DSiware are transferred. You have to manually transfer the games yourself.
Really? How do you manually transfer Ambassador games?

You swap the old SD card into the new system. That's 'manual' I guess.

So yea, I need to exchange my XL but I already system transferred it 0_0
Should I
A) Wait seven days, exchange it, and waste two system transfers in the process
or
B) Send it into Nintendo for repairs and how they fix everything just fine?
One of the problems i'm having with it are the pixels on the main screen. Would Nintendo even fix that or put a new screen in?
They wont fix your 3DS. They'll give you a new one or a refurbished 3DS, and they'll transfer all your stuff to it before sending it back to you.

I'd be sure my wife had lost her mind if that same situation played out for me. I kinda want an XL, but she played the "you don't need one" card on me. I mean she's right. I hate when she's right. Hand cramps - as caused by my 3DS after 10 or 15 minutes - apparently don't constitute necessity.Girlfriend went out to get me "Q-tips", came back with a Nintendo 3DS XL Red for me... Love this girl!

Red > Blue
Deal with it.
So go into the store settings and set your zipcode to something in Alaska. No more tax.
so..how many people tried to jack ambassador games from a demo unit?
My boyfriend an I both transferred to new XLs today but as the day has gone on, we've realized we aren't streetpassing anymore.
We have gone into Streetpass plaza and turned the Streetpass off and on again on both units but it still seems that they won't pass one another....
Has anyone experienced this or can suggest something to try?
Not gonna lie, if I can figure out how to do it I would try to transfer ambassador games on my XL
*runs from police sirens*
But doesn't that thing take like 40 minutes, lol I'm not in best buy or gamestop for more then 20 minutes
Has the eight hour window passed?

I've got two dead pixels on mine and I had the same dilemma. Though I'll probably end up waiting the seven days and get a brand new one.I'll probably take my chances then and go with a Nintendo repair. I'd rather not waste two system transfers.
Yoshi's Island is really blurry, even in 1:1 mode.
